I would love to play a Doom stealth game where you have to hide and sneak around scary monsters and solf puzzles harder than find the blue key .

Does anyone have a .torrent with seeds?
There's always the full download from moddb.
You can also specifically select another mirror in the installer. This sometimes helps.

I did actually make a prototype which I thought was an improvement.
I think it looks great and should be added to core as an option for mappers to include (although I think the audio isn't entirely fitting).
This is how my tweaked mission selection screen looks. If the image was a slideshow and the text was scrollable, with a max height (I couldn't find a way yet how to include those) it would be even better.
Now that I think of it, the mission selection screen and downloader could be merged into one screen. where the not downloaded missions have a download button and the ones already downloaded you can activate directly.

Best i.m.o. is to alter New Job and Saint Lucia with (more) hints and tutorial aspects and/or including an extra tutorial mission.

I rather would go with a poll for a bunch of prefered starter missions and then link to that on tdm main page. Inside TDM it should entirelly up to the player what he/she chooses. The mission downloader should have a better layout with filters and better graphics (screenshot slideshow directly visible instead of in sub menu). I already made some changes to the (2.10) mission selection gui for myself.
I think every tdm intro logo gets old over time. I personally like the current one, just not with every mission.

Maybe use something like a div tool to merge the settings which are still the same. I wonder if this is faster though.
-
Just to be clear: Looking at the source files, is the idea to make this working by creating a mission in DR with the source assets? I mean there is no demo mission or something included?

The stuck nobleman would be a major issue though. If more people run into it I may have to change the lighting so it's possible to sneak out even if he is stuck.
I think I did run into this once, but couldn't reproduce it later and therefore didn't post about it during beta.

I don't understand why it still wants to update something when you run it after you updated though. It deleted all my settings as well, argh...
You have the option to install a previous version or a dev/beta version instead of the default latest stable release.

I'll test as well. I already started playing last night.

Are you sure this isn't Deadeye?

I never have had this AI issue in 2.09 but only since 2.10 it's like they are hypersensitive.
Related?

You really do not have to watch that movie.
Usually every month I go to a movie event called Straight to video. We watch movies with low imdb ratings, usually from the 80s.
Although some of these aren't really fun, like:

You do not even recall the feature film with Dolph Lundgren?
I have not seen Masters of the Universe yet. I put it on on my list..

Well it seemed to me that if they would state from the start that they would not join nato, they would possibly evade war. But maybe I'm wrong.
-
I think it was probably a bad idea to try to force Ukraine into Nato. It's bad for negotiation position.

Apparently it does run with wine: https://www.reddit.com/r/stalker/comments/bjbzb9/anomaly_on_linux/ (have not tried it personally yet)

There's an issue with stencil shadows in this area:
The shadows on the ceiling move around whenever the player moves their view .
Another thing I noticed is that in the main menu, whenever the snow-falling animation loops, there is a delay and the mouse movement is frozen for half a second. This happens like ones in 5 seconds. The original video file is 10 seconds.
Edit: After restart TDM I can't reproduce the looping snowflake menu issue anymore.

Couldn't find this info anywhere:
What is the current implemented version of wxgtk? Is this wxgtk2 3.05 or wxgtk3 3.05?
According to the Linux comiling guide the requirement for Ubuntu 20.04+ is libwxgtk3.0-gtk3-dev but for Arch linux is wxgtk2 . Is this incorrect info, or is the wxgtk version really different per distro?

I thought TDM didn't work on arm64..

My feeling is that you're better of with a video editor that is simple, but not too limited, but has also been around for a while.

Did you change something to the ending compared to the beta? Maybe I shouldn't read player reviews here..

a pure Mission Update shouldend be as big as the Original Mission .
I agree. If the update is only in the *.map file, it shouldn't be needed to download the full fm pk4. I also think that translations should be separate downloads.

I think a difficulty star rating based on user input is not a bad idea.
