UPDATE: I just noticed a tdm_mirrors_backup.txt and copy/pasted it's contents into the tdm_mirrors.txt file. I opened the updater, ticked the box under advanced options, and *poof* it worked! Updater worked as intended.. tho, I still cannot DL maps within the game..

I absolutely LOVED that game.. the levels, the story, everything..!! question is.. would a person get into trouble for re-making a level(s) from that game for TDM for free? I am by NO MEANS familiar with mapping/texturing or the processes therein.. I tried DR and freaked (even after the tuts i was lost and frustrated)! I am a digital artist, and use 3D prgrams (poser) for my work (see attached), but nothing like DR/3d studio max/maya. Anywho, there are levels from DS that were just amazing, and just wondered what would stop someone (with more talent than I in mapping) from making this happen? I also know that this would be one hell of an endevour, and the time.. oh damn, but all that would be so well worth it if done right. ok, i'll just sit over here.. thnx

I've been so bored lately with the games that have been released that I just about burnt out on PC games. While looking up another MOD (need not mentioned here) I came across TDM. W O W, this is AMAZING.. I can play Thief again with player-made missions and using the Doom 3 engine!!!!! OUTSTANDING! Thank you thank you guys, users, map makers, the devs, ALL of you for this awesome gift of gaming! I've tried all the maps, and with the exception of a few, they have all the ambience, the CREEPY hair-raising atmosphere that I had loved so much from the Thief series, EVERYTHING.. it's all great! (takes a breath, calms down) But serious folks,, you've done an amazing job here, and I can only hope for more great player-made maps.. please keep them coming! from your faithful, and supportive newbie,you all have have my deepest thanks. -Bush PS: Where can I see the proggression of player-maps?
