When is somebody going to add The Dark Mod (with Pic) onto Facebook so I can add it to my favorite games? I added "thedarkmod.com", but I can't add a picture. Thief 1 & 2 are there, but Gold & 3 are also missing As a loyal fan of all things Thief I think this should be available. Still waiting impaitiently for Thief 4, but The Dark Mod is Awesome so I don't mind the wait

Thanks Bikerdude ya!! LoL Got the Training mission to work, now I'm gonna try some new smaller FM's to see if they will run. I also changed the resolution to 1366 x 780 (the laptop's default). That may have helped.

That's what I was thinking, but all the files are in the win_update folder. That folder and fms are in the DarkMod folder. Nothing else. Should I move all the other files to the DarkMod folder? Since I'm not home I can't check to see how the desktop folders are set up so I have nothing to compare with

Nah, always had trouble with ATI back in the day with Thief. My desktop has nVidia and my new laptop (MSI-S6000) has an Intel HD graphics card.

Does the Dark Mod work with the 64 bit version of Win 7... The patched Doom 3 works beautifully. I just can't get TDM to work at all. I read on some post that 64 bit Linux needs some kind of 32 bit libraries. Where would I find those for Win7 ? Or what do I have to do? I see a lot of new TDM missions these days... I wanna play too

Hey, I got a problem with starting Dark Radiant. I read the part about: If an "Engine Path Not Found" dialog appears, choose the path to your Doom 3 installation. For example, C:\Games\Doom3.The fs_game setting should point to your darkmod installation. Depending on which package you're working on, this can be "thiefs_den", "saintlucia" or "darkmod". Then click OKI tried that, but I get the warning window: The fs_game folder does not exist. Do you want to correct this? If I say Yes it goes back to the same thing, if I say No Dark Radiant opens & there's an "unnamed.map", but I'm not sure if that's what I'm supposed to do. Is there a search bar for within the thread? Because 14 pages is a lot to go through I still havn't figured out how to put spoilers into the FM section yet in the help section with the FM's. Maybe I'm just retarded, but this forum is so different from ttlg's version. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I KO'd/killed everyone in this game & I really enjoyed doing it since the 1st guard really pissed me off. I REALLY liked using the Mine on the guard at the kitchen overlooking the crown! No matter what I did he wouldn't go away any other way. I also liked the fireplace in the parlor (with it's other way out). I really wanted to spoil this part, but can't figure out how??? I do have a question though. There's a door in the basement that is locked & I can't find anything to open it with ?? (It's closest to the elevator and across from it) & I'm guessing the rest of the loot is in there since I have free reign over the rest of the building...

I finally got rid of my old P4 PC & built a new one with a nVidia motherboard (for SLI X 3), Evga video card, intel duo 2/quad core processor, 4.5Gb RAM & stuck it all in to the CoolerMaster nVidia edition tower "Play Hard" so now I have no problems with any game they throw at me . Thanks to some fix I found at ttlg I don't even have to go into the taskmanager to set affinity for T2 anymore, just that was awesome! Nothing lags, crystal clear picture...Awesome!! Anyways, Demagogue I really liked this mission! But I can't find my way into the lab & that's my last stop everything else is completed. I may have missed the topic somewhere, but got pretty bored of reading all the stuff about linear things, fake door/window wallpaper etc. so I may have missed it. Can you spoil me? P.S. I did read about the dude who jumps out at you in the warehouse before I even got there, but yeah it did scare the crap out of me when I reached that door... P.S.S. How is Dark Radiant compared to T3Ed ? I was able to build maps with T3Ed, but never got other things to work correctly. Probably because of the old PC, so I gave up. Maybe it was just as well. The Dark Mod seems much more realistic

My doomkey works fine with D3, but is not working with The Dark Mod after updating to the latest version. I also used it fine with the "old" version of the Dark Mod with "Saint Lucia" & "Thief's Den", but is now asking me to put the key in TWO (2) different boxes. I've tried taking the last 3 characters (where only 3 will fit in the last box), but that doesn't work either. PLEASE HELP...

I installed The Den, but I'm going to try deleting that user.xml file...now. Thanks for the help... Shoot there is no file by that name, only a darkradiant.log & darkradiant.pid

Installed the C++2008 thingy and followed the instructions below: Windows Download the DarkRadiant installer (it's the .exe file) from Sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/darkradiant Run the installer and follow the instructions until it finishes. Start up DarkRadiant via the Start menu. If an "Engine Path Not Found" dialog appears, choose the path to your Doom 3 installation. For example, c:\Games\Doom3. Then click . DarkRadiant should now start up. Try loading a Dark Mod map to see if it's working. You're done! my doom is in D:\Doom3 and I clicked OK, but I get the "close program, find a solution" window and that's it... Please help

Ok, I'm going to give DR a try. Where is the download link & tutorials again? I'll also need the link for the tutorial in creating snow (since that is my favorite part in all the Thief games. I do have an odd question though. In the T2 FM "Masque of the Red Death" the author actually got the AI's to dance. Is that possible in the Dark Mod as well? My setting is a castle, but with a night club as well. Can't have the AI's just standing there...

I'm kinda relearning the T3 editor, and I was seriously thinking about dumping the T3 edit & moving on to the Dark Mod editor (radiant I think it's called) instead. Would it be like the T3ed or better? After trying the T3editor & then trying Dromed for T2, I said to myself "forget that!", I'd rather do T3 The Reason for my change of heart to the Dark Mod is that it's so much more "thief realistic". Everything is so BLUE in T3, literally... Take for example: St. Lucia, the secret switch in the priest's room... it was grey, Not Blue when frobbing was possible... I really liked that, took me forever to find it (Thank You 'sNeaksieGarrett' for the spoiler on that one)... I love the realistic water in the Dark Mod as well... I know there's issues yet to be figured out with the Dark Mod, but if I'm going to put a lot of time & dedication into this I need to know what system would be better for my game...
