Installing yet another free trial from lightwave. Gonna start working again today. I hope 4gb RAM will get the job done for now.

Well... While true it's not always like that. I know for example that Maya uses GPU for viewport rendering and several other programs that have option for it as well (as long as your card supports CUDA).

Seems like it. I made the first cloth, now I'm making the shadowmesh for it. But it takes time :/
Why all those programs keep using RAM instead of GPU?

@xarg. Triple channel works only in white-white-white. If I put em to blue-blue-blue it doesn't boot. So I'm stuck with dual channel and two chips. I'll upgrade to 2x4gb soon I hope.
@biker warranty is long over now so I'll have to buy a new one. And that comes with new CPU as well. No new mobos around that use 1366 socket to my knowledge.
Till then I'm stuck at 4gb ram :/ Sad thing is that even if I upgrade it to 8gb, I'm stuck at 8gb max for th...

updated the bios and no faulty stick. for some reason the first of the three channels doesn't work. As such I can only use ram in dual channel. No way to use 3 sticks on dual channel so...

had to reactivate Win 7 due to a hardware change. I have the family pack for 3 PCs. I call them, it asks how many PCs its installed on and I say 3. It says I'm not allowed to do that... Just another reason not to support the developers. At least I got this used, so they got nothing from me.

if the family pack is for 3 pc's how can they tell you you're not supposed to have it installed on 3 pc's? o.O

When I post a new update it deletes everything and without the ability to edit it I couldn't just "fix" it. If it makes you feel better repost it. Or leave it at I forgot to add a "t" at the end. Better now?

One of my favorites too!
@Sotha It's really realy funny with a good (imo) story and no game breaking bugs. Played it like 10 times already and I keep laughing my ass off in the dialogues every time. Give it a try!

Rigging shoulders is definitely a contender for my least favourite TDM activity.

Maya 2015 LT has updated it's rigging tools considerably plus it's free for students.
Have you tried animation/posing dedicated software like Poser/Daz or iClone/Motionbuilder?
It's a lot faster there than doing it by hand in max for example
