  1. Refixed it all Rebuilded the opera house so i am back on track, still wip but i like showing off, the music will also be used in the completed game/map
  2. You saved it Ty And yes dude this is the map you merged only if i had put the texture lock on back then, i guess if i move the house around i can get all textures to fall back in place. first thing tomorrow build build build and again TY i will pay you guys back with a nice gaming experience.

Pc crashed used retrieval software to get the maps back some dont load at all other load fine till a certain entity, then i get the message Failed on entity 656 DefTokeniser: Assertion failed: Required "{", found " This means that some accolade has been changed into a comma? I am not even sure if it is damaged at all i made a new map start and somethimes the shaders are black instead of the blue no shader blocks. And i do not seem to have the my document files. Can someone check and or fix.. It is quite some work if i start over. If things need to be deleted to make it work plz do, i read about ppl going into the map with a text editor and deleting corrupt lines with hand also the console gives world spawn error on all of the errored maps, if i am right then it cannot render anything since the map has no starting position. I sure hope it is not fubr
  4. Yep just scanned my disk with recovery software for .map and there it was, raccoon_autosave.map , i lost no work at all HAPPY NEW YEAR Now i need backups

Merry christmass and all that shit, I LOST MY MAP !!!!!!!!!!!, now it should still be online somewhere on the filehost i gave up on in the link, wich i do not know what it was, good enough i dint losse to much only a theatre Can a admin see what filehost was given up before i edited the post?? I have been going around all sorts of filehosts trying to retrieve a pass to my mail, no luck yet if i only could remember wich one. Help

I have made a seperate map for importing, but now it seems to big i cannot move it around could someone with a powerfull pc move it ontop of the mountain platform. plz do not rotate the mansion and leave about 8 units betueen the hall floor and the white platform on the mountain It still needs stairs You can download the maps here and host it back somewhere, you can use the maps all you like to make your version. thank you
  7. The wiki go's out from the fact that you have made a greyscale map for your texture. ( This is a rough guide by a non-expert as I (fidcal) do it so at least there is something here. It assumes you have made a temporary greyscale image file saved as say nameGrey.tga ) How do i make that?
  8. I need dds or tga textures i do not understand how i can make the increasements in the textures. I am in real need of a shiny black white checkered floor. and marble tiles . And straight wood. I just downed photoshop and i will try to make it work using the wiki, cant be that hard right?

  10. I made a entire room in mirror to test and it works.. only the lag is total. I do have a problem with the resident evil bathroom when you walk to the piece of wall next to the tub curtain the lights in the mirror go out same for when you are in the tub. Somehow the light is blocked from your direct view and the lights behind the mirror go out?

  13. Is there a way to select everything inside a map to save as a prefab? My house is getting pretty big i cannot see myself selecting every little bit of it i might forget something. It would realy help me if there was some sort of map conversion to prefab?? Ty
  14. They do alighn but the walls itself are leaking below grid 1 Thickness
  15. I use the small grid all the time to cut out gems and position stuff, and i just draw a untextered skybox everytime for testing, i never noticed that it leakes trough thin brushes... Map is comming together nicely and faster then i thought realy cool stuff just you wait.
  16. I did alot of work and dint save seperatly so i needed to fix this leak fooled around a little deleted a whole basement, till i found out that drawing the skybox on grid 8 solved the problem. On 0.125 it leaked how is that possible?

  19. The 1st room of the spencer mansion, you can almost hear someone saying, I dont know what happened...

I also need to visportal some outside areas behind walls, i dont know how exactly to put this but how many units should there be betueen the camera and a visportal for not rendering it on the wiki pages there is a camera vieuw upclose a wall and it is not rendering the visportal behind but when you move back the camera comes close to being able to see the portal and starts prerendering the area, so how many units away should i keep the visportal out of sight? or better said how many units betueen the cam view edge and the visportal, before it starts to render it? Or lets say i have a visportal of 100 units high how large of wall should i put infront of it? 120 130?

I progressed alot further now building and scripting that is, but now i want to add the spencer mansion, but to test it quickly to see it inworld i would like to build it room by room in a new window save each room as a prefab, but can lights and scripted entity's be saved as a prefab? or are there complications?

Have a mousewheel bug after 1.3 install, i cannot change weapons using the mousewheel, i can choose a weapon and then scroll trough in one direction but when i hit the empty slot, it stops working, so the mousewheel can only be used to empty your hands... i know strange bug i have no idea how it happened. Is this known and is there a fix for it?

Hi i am back again, before i start building my map any further i wanted to play the fms, now the shadows are pitch black no texture visible, i had it before but cannot remember what it was, i think it had something to do with direct x? I searched the forum for the topic that solved my problem but i cannot find the post anymore HELP and it is not bloom i turned it off already. for the rest it runs great, only shadows are pitch black spots where no obj or textures are visible. Ty for your help in advance.
