  1. A bit late to the party, but this issue was due to using Xorg modesetting(video driver?). I also played Soma about 1-2 months ago and it had the same issue, couldn't change gamma/brightness settings. Make sure you're not using the modesetting driver, that one doesn't support gamma control yet.
  2. Sorry for the noobish rant, but I can't get out of the 1st floor. I'm done with the 3-4 tenants, the guards and the management guy(who inherited the place from his uncle) and cleared out the office. However, there seems to be a lift on this floor that I can't find anywhere.   3. Reason: I find the ingame downloader client missing "Download all" annoying
  4. ​I hope you don't me mind asking but where I can download all maps? If you could pass me a url to scrape download URLs from, that would be appreciated. I assume maps are on cdns/mirros, so will around there first

  6. vga has 8GB ram, tried to run it with the command it suggests by setting +set vgamemoryorsuchstuff 1234 but that didn't change anything

OS: Debian Sid PC specs: e3 1230 v5 32 gb ddr4 ram sapphire rx 480 asrock e3v5 gaming/oc mobo 2 ssd drives As the title says, trying to change gamma or brigthness settings have no visual effects ingame when launching the linux binary. I've launched the windows binary with wine 1.9.x, where it seems to work but this seems to be a workaround for this isssue. I've removed the xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu driver from debian sid, because it was causing signal loss on the hdmi output for the rx 480. Without this package, my other games that were failing are launching fine

  11. Are there full releases available? I've tried the 1.08 linux updater from moddb and it got 0 mirrors. ​ ​There seem to be some updaters on mirrors(http://mirror.helium.in-berlin.de/thedarkmod/release/), but they seem to be all "updaters", so no idea where to get 1.0x latest release base.
  12. What's the last version that can be run with doom3? ​ ​I've recently acquired doom3 on linux and it runs very well on my laptop. Wondering if I could run a version that uses doom3's engine? Last version of 2.0.x I've tried was too sluggish.

  14. Just one more thing, it's especially areas where lights are frequent that kills FPS. Such as the temple area in St Lucia map.

I'd be interested in this topic, since my laptop runs Darkmod awfully slow. ​ ​OS: Debian 8 32bit ​ ​Acer aspire 5736z with 3GB ram ​ ​I've seen on the community hardware feedback page older computers with less RAM running TDM "fine", so it's suprising my old laptop can barely run it. My FPS is roughly 5-20. I know Intel GMA 4500M is crap, but still.
