This is a really pretty level. The first time I tried to play it I got turned off by the deafening ambient and gave up, but I'm glad I gave it another shot. Because it gave me some really strong Thief 2 vibes, which I always like.
Figuring out the objectives was tricky but not unfair.
Many of the puzzles involving guards were just pure, old-school sneaking so that's another big thumbs up!

imo would be funny to drive around a slow steampunk vehicle
I can just imagine watchmen derping around after you on penny-farthings.

Right. NATO expands when other countries ask to join. They don't park their armies outside other countries' capitals.

Or you could try being less cryptic when you ask a question and/or not getting so hostile when people ask what you mean.

That's pretty cool! But is there even a reason to use the def_attach method instead of placing an actual key and using bind and bind_to-Joint?
-
I'm not sure I understand the question. TDM is already based on the DOOM 3 engine, so that would be modifying it back to accommodate what it originally used to run.

If the current training mission is too text heavy, you could use conversations rather than readables to impart the necessary information. The training mission of T1 does this pretty well.

I'm more than happy to beta test a mission that still has cosmetic touches to go in. Scripting, gameplay, and balance are all things that can be tested early on.

Really cool city mission! I always like climbing in and around buildings in the City.
Ran into one killer bug though:
Spoilerin Burke's mansion, I went into his library on the top floor. While I was poking around he came in, sat down on his armchair and then refused to ever get up again. It's impossible to leave that room with him facing the doorway so after ten minutes of waiting for him to leave on his own I had to noclip out.
There's also this:

What mission is this?

The problem I was trying to explain is this: suppose you have to lean forward to read a scroll or something. When the scroll opens you stop leaning forward even if you continue to hold the lean forward button. If that takes you back out of frobbing range the scroll closes again, which is annoying.
I don't think combining the frob and lean-forward keys would solve that, and it isn't something I would ever want. How would it work, for example, in Thief Den 2 where you need to lean forward to drop the fake crown in place of the real one?
-
I use lean forward pretty frequently. It's not obsolete in TDM at all.

Sometimes you have to lean forward to read a document, for example a book in a chest or on a desk. If you keep the F key pressed you should continue leaning forward even when the document opens instead of automatically leaning back.

I assume you got the holy symbol for the objective?
If you've only got four out of five secrets, I bet I know which loot item it is. Have a very careful look around the bow maker's shop.
I use scripts to physically teleport certain loot items around to prevent them being grabbed through thin objects. In this map that's only the holy symbol and one of the secret items.

That's a shout-out to my previous level. It has no other purpose.
What do you mean with "pushed out into the void"?

I really liked this mission! What I enjoyed most is that there were reasons to visit just about every location, with lots of intriguing bits of world-building everywhere. I thought the secret basement was a big highlight.
I had the same problem vozka did:
SpoilerAtiq was not blackjackable on that chair even after I destroyed his magic bracelet.
It didn't matter though; it's not like he is difficult to avoid.
If you do end up updating the mission, I noticed these two tiny oddities:

There's already a big banner up at the moddb page but I guess it isn't as signposted as well as it could be elsewhere.

I'll test as well. I already started playing last night.
Awesome! Welcome aboard. Hope you have fun.

The TDM updater is obsolete. It's been replaced with tdm_installer.exe on Windows, and with tdm_installer.linux64 on Linux. You should have a smoother experience with that; it's a bit less finicky than the updater was.

We definitely need more fonts; especially some additional neat handwriting fonts. It's annoying when you've got handwritten documents by a number of different people and the only thing left is something illegible.

There is a lot of really cool stuff in 2.10, that's for sure.

Hooray and welcome aboard! Hope you like my little level...

Does this have zombies? And to what extend?
There are no zombies, only guards and a couple of rats.

That is where it's supposed to be. Why can you not copy it? What's going wrong when you try?
