  1. Sweet mission. Very sharp city. I'm almost done, but I'm stuck with a few details.

    1: I can't find...

    Spoiler

...the combination for the Sinclair safe.

    There is a...

    Spoiler

    ...barred door upstairs that I haven't gotten into yet;

I assume that has something to do with it.

    2: I'd like to...

    Spoiler

    ...lay Clarice's ghost...

...(so to speak), but I can't find ...

    Spoiler

    ...the referenced key.

    Also, there's an...

    Spoiler

...open-windowed apartment occupied by a jumpy woman high above Fishend .

I can't figure out any way to get in there.

    Any hints would be appreciated.

  2. There is much to admire here, and I am enjoying the mission overall, but the elemental passcode panels are intensely irritating. I can only (barely) see and interpret slightly less than half of the symbols; there's just not nearly enough contrast to them, and it doesn't improve even when they're highlighted. I stumbled through the one in the first mission (the lighting in that location was better), but the ones guarding...

    Spoiler

...the shroud, holy water and artifact...

...are heavily shadowed and impossible to interpret. I realize that this mission is (for lack of a better phrase at the moment) old news, but can somebody assist in some manner? Going through the threads concerning this mission on various boards, I am apparently the only player who had/has this problem. Puzzling.

    NM...I forgot I had a lantern...*sigh*

It ran at a constant 60 fps on a much older cpu (AMD FX-8350) for me. My GPU is more recent but still only a 4gb card.

Wasn't hard to figure out the safe, either. Good hints.

Specifically inside the room you find the readable. If you still couldn't figure it out...

    The lady in the painting

The number of lanterns on the bench. I thought it was either this or the number of lights in the room initially so I was going to try both, but the first guess worked.

The number of pillows in the room

    Anyway, cool mission.

  5. I signed up weeks ago, and I have not been able to log in since. I change my password, and it's not accepted when I try to log in later. I request a one-time email login and "Oops... Something went wrong. This is our fault, sorry! ". Literally *nothing* seems to work there. Is it just me?

  6. Thanks for the replies, particularly the reference to the embarrassingly-obvious "Music & SFX" subforum just below this one. I just like the music: I don't have any illusions about creating a fan mission. I messed with Dromed way back in the day, and I remember what a black hole of time and sanity it was.

"Undead hogwarts" is a fantastic description lol. As for your question, that door is purely decorative, it was meant to represent the front entrance. You cant actually traverse it. Sorry for the confusion

No sweat, now I know. Thanks.

  8. So, I'm in the Undead Hogwarts, and I have everything I need, but there's this...

    Spoiler

...set of double doors with a shimmery, filmy shield..

..in front of it that I can't seem to touch. If there was a written clue somewhere, I have completely missed it. Please assist.

  9. I'm just here to gush embarrassingly about another Wellington Crab mission. MD2: LHMN is a delicious bit of offbeat strangeness, dreamlike, surreal, but made odd sense to me at the right moments, so that I made it though the entire thing by myself this time, instead of being constantly (though enjoyably) overwhelmed as in Iris. Of course, it's lovingly crafted and peppered with clever little bits of window dressing that might seem distracting and extraneous in a lesser mission. I still have little idea what the overall story was, but I enjoyed every minute of the experience. Wellington Crab, you are a genius and an artist, and I look forward keenly to your next mission.

@Oleron there are no rope arrows in the mission -

I am not sure but it sounds like you may be going for this sequence of very difficult jumps. It's not for the feint of heart (I can't do it):

This route was originally discovered by @AluminumHaste who is something of a human rope arrow.

Yup, that's it. And I don't think it's going to happen. Thank you.
