Thank you! An explanation re: your spoiler

If memory serves me correctly, there is a bug in which if you either interrupt or don't let a safe door open fully it wont make the insides be interactable.

The reason for this is that safes require an entity inside to be triggered to tell the game "hey the safe is open, you can grab the stuff inside", otherwise the player can just pull things out from the safe without opening it. What happened previously (and this is a result of me being a naive mapper back then) was that the safe door was set to only trigger that action on being opened. And so anything that interrupted the door would cause that to go wry and so you could see the inside of the safe, but couldn't interact because the game still thinks the safe door is closed.

To resolve that issue on your end, you'd have to go in and reload before you opened the safe and make sure that you don't interrupt/stop the door while it's opening. As I just tested this on 2.09 and can confirm if the door opens fully and the loot inside is frobable:

I do apologize for your negative experience there, and when I update this mission next I will be sure to make a note of that fix.

I have experienced in some missions that I could not pick up objects from a trunk or safe, but I have always been able to solve it by simply closing and opening the lid or door again.

  2. Me making noise above, drawing the priest down and towards to the zombie. He took care of him.

I also like to do this trick in other missions, to attract guards and zombies or skeletons together.

As in the Alchemist, the zombie in the closet, the consequence of lure the zombie out of the room to the hallway and the guards. 😁

  3. I played it yesterday, nice mission and with a slightly different approach. I didn't notice any bugs to take into account and it worked fine in 2.09.
I had no difficulty finishing it either, although I was wrong at first, putting the corpse from the hut in the sarcophagus of the church, instead of the dead guard behind it, which I found later. The rest was pretty straightforward and intuitive.

Maybe a few more guards / spiders / zombies would be indicated, but otherwise it's certainly not the worst mission.

I downloaded it some time ago, but I completely forgot, until recently, when I went through the missions that I have installed and which I have not played in a while.

  4. It's not easy to get music for free. Even more difficult, though it is somewhat strange, medieval music and similar ones that fit TDM missions (FMA only has contemporany music)
Sometimes I find in various missions a really nice soundtrack (e.g. in Requiem-Beata Viscera) and a few more in some tavern by some trobadur, but this is usually limited to short 4-5 chord loops that are only irritating.

Of course, there are several sites that have music without copyright that can be downloaded, but either only for private use or paying.
That's why I searched the network and found a site that may be interesting and that allows you to download the files for free (mp3 - paid only if you want HQ and wav file)  and with CC license, that is, they only need to add the author in the credits. You can use this music also for comercial use and therefore in TDM Misions.

  5. Obviously not a general Chromium problem, just Chrome. With Vivaldi there are no problems either. If it is in Windows, the Defender or another AV already prevents the download, when it is infected by malware, therefore the behavior of Chrome is obviously stupid. Google should take more care of the extensions in its Chrome Store, quite often infected with all kinds of evil-and spyware, only eliminated after an Userreport, which is much more serious.

found a few on ebay at about half that :) even comes with cpu and ram though it only comes with a core i7 4820 still it seems to be a good deal. Got a xeon laying around also though it is even worse than the 4820 as it is also a quad core but has no hyperthreading like the 4820, still it might come in handy for some if they just need a cpu for testing a socket 2011 board. The nice thing about the X79 deluxe is that it has allmost double the amount of ports for sata 6 and usb 3 compared to the RIVE, also sports a built in wifi card and the asmedia usb 3 chipset was updated to a newer version compared to the RIVE and other asus boards from that time.

I think a laptop with the specifications of mine for € 175 must be second hand, but not new.
But yes, a basic CPU can be had for this and even for less, not for an arm and both legs.

Today there are very good offers in computing that make you doubt the need to expand an old computer or use it better as an auxiliary equipment for the new one (which I would do) or as home server.

  7. Sorry, my mistake and yes, the page I put is only for personal use, I have not realized it.
But of course there are an infinity of generators of ambient sounds, both online and offline that offer loops and ambient sounds for free use, commercially included.

It is always helpful to have several alternatives on hand.
