they look nearly as that.. i was playing thief2..on the bank level:) i heard clock-ticking:) i remembered that there is a grandfatherclock on the list so i quited and modelled that:) i dont recall if t2 grandfather clock had spikes or not but i thought it would fit.. edit: just checked..they dont have spikes in t2..at least not in the bank here is the pic

here is an edited version..howver i think it was wide and heavy enough not to get knocked down so easily.. anyway i will redo the whole model if you think that style wouldnt fit with the others...

are you sure that the top cannot be simulated with normal map?anyway if not i will edit it.. for now i will upload these.. edit: they are in the Props/misc/barrel folder

where can i get a trial of Lightwave? i will try it but its my disadvantage that i am not getting used to new things easily:)

thanks for the nice words howver i dont really want to change to lightwave i cant even use 3dmax full-fledged..i mean.. i learned modelling just because of modding,so i havent used many of its aspects yet..(animation,and even highpoly modelling is kinda new to me) and i used 3dsmax all the time..i got used to it..i am just getting started to be happy about my progess in learning it:) and i like edges:) howver if there is no other way to export than i will learn using LW for exporting,normalmapping
