The door must have a handle: otherwise you can peek through other items with doors acting as lids, such as chests.
I don't think it matters becouse it will be too dark in the chest to see anything. If it's possible to look inside it could actually be interesting.

This is in the settings still listed under "Experimental features". Maybe time to remove that title?

Where is this for?
Btw. there is an ambiant world light prefab and an atdm:ambient_world entity. Do these have different use cases?

Grim Dawn is from the same guy who worked on Titan Quest, it's also made with that engine, but with improved graphics. Originally via kickstarter. I've played original GD for many hours. If you like Diablo 2 and Torchlight 2 more than Diablo 3, then you might like GD as well.
What is especially cool is that you have dual classes. So you start of with one class and later combine that with another. With the mod you can for example combine a necromancer with a paladin build.

Yeah that's a bummer. Probably will be a Christmas sale soon

Anyone played Reign of terror? It's a Grim Dawn mod that brings you Diablo 2 inside of the Grim Dawn engine. Overal it's pretty impressive I have to say. I played it whole night long. I'm a big fan of both games though.
Edit: It's kind of old already, I wonder how I could have missed it.

In Shadows of Northdale 1, fog appears/disappears based on camera angle. I have GT730.
Oh yeah I saw that as well. Only played with the beta. Assumed it was a general bug with that mission, but maybe I shouldn't when playing nonstable. I'll try in 2.10

Why don't you install the default way with the installer? EFX works.
Btw. I'm using Manjaro Linux (Arch based distro)

I will gladly brief you about what all this is about but privately and tomorrow, if you don't mind.
What?? You are not going to share this with the whole community?

I've more issues with torches not going out with water arrows (and thus wasting water arrows), but the problem is more with the water splash radius possibly.

For what it's worth, a while back I figured out how to make my own light table:
That topic falls in the category of learning things in non-logical order (which I'm doing all the time).

Do I have to set something to get this error?
-
Ah I had a similar issue, but didn't get the blue screen, maybe only Windows shows this (blue screen )? Couldn't start tdm until I restored the default unpacked mission state. Couldn't say at the time if this was a beta feature, so didn't report it.

For what it's worth I show here my just created filter that filters everything away except volumetric lights. Maybe this could be done simpler? Or I made a mistake?

The in-game downloader now supports "sort by release date" ordering.
Just noticed this. Pretty nice. I think the button to switch between the 2 modusses is a bit too small/hidden (maybe add some color, or a button decoration?). Also, can this feature also be added to the list of downloaded missions? I guess maybe you want to first see what works best.
Edit: I guess curently it can't be used on the list of downloaded mission, because it would add an internet requirement on that view which otherwise isn't needed.

TDM installer:
Better organisation of versions.
It should show version and under that sections release, beta and dev. So for example:
-
2.11
-
beta
- beta 1
- beta 2
-
dev
- dev 767667
- etc.
-
beta
-
2.10
-
stable
- Release
-
beta
- beta 1
- etc.
-
dev
- dev 88776
- etc.
-
stable
Idially it would automatically only show everything from a specific version if you click on that version.

Would be nice to have a save and restart button in the Game Setup window.

Something I noticed: The mission has the tittle:
Shadows of Northdale ACT I
With a capital letter i, instead of a 1. This means it's listed in the mission selection screen right under ACT 2, instead of above. Changing it to 1 in darkmod.txt fixes this.

Fantastic mission! Both in looks (even today, came out in 2013) and in gameplay.

Hmm, yes that seems to be it.
I have the newer variant from here:
And I can't see that error. But maybe you get it later in the game?

I read you need an nvidia card to use the RTX remix tool though.

The issue is when the darkmod executable is launched by Dark Radiant
For me this also often, but not always leeds to wrong map loading or crashing. None of that when I manually activate game connection so I use that.
What I noticed is that if you have selected that the map is dmapped before loading it takes a lot of time before the dmap actually takes place (maybe like 8 seconds or so). In this time period, there is no hint that it will load.

If the player tosses the body face-up, how can it end up face-down? Especially during the swap it might look unrealistic.
Edit:
Sorry, I didn't read this part. I cannot delete my post.
