OS: Debian Sid PC specs: e3 1230 v5 32 gb ddr4 ram sapphire rx 480 asrock e3v5 gaming/oc mobo 2 ssd drives As the title says, trying to change gamma or brigthness settings have no visual effects ingame when launching the linux binary. I've launched the windows binary with wine 1.9.x, where it seems to work but this seems to be a workaround for this isssue. I've removed the xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu driver from debian sid, because it was causing signal loss on the hdmi output for the rx 480. Without this package, my other games that were failing are launching fine
Started playing TDM this week and I've got to say it is damn awesome. Although there is one problem: For me to see anything at all outside of direct torch light in TDM itself I need to set the Gamma and Brightness values relatively high. When I end the game those values are not reset and my desktop is blindingly bright, so every time after closing the game I need to open my settings and readjust the values. I am playing TDM on debian testing and a NVidia GeForce GTS 250. I normally run the game from a terminal and the last line is always a memory access error. If I should be reporting bugs elsewhere I am very sorry and thankful for directions. [Edit]Urgh, I just now saw the support forum. Obviously I am blind.
Dear All, I cannot start TDM 2.0, because it says:
root@JESSIE-K55VD:/home/ptoth/TheDarkMod# ./thedarkmod.x86 ./thedarkmod.x86: error while loading shared libraries: libXxf86vm.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I Googled the problem as much as I could: My params: ASUS K55VD 1, uname -a: 3.10-3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.10.11-1 (2013-09-10) x86_64 GNU/Linux 2, TDM version: 2.0 3, I already installed libtxc-dxtn0 package from debian-multimedia repo (As Debian.org recommends) 4, I have the latest version from both libxxf86dga1 and libxxf86vm1 (devel packages are not installed) Thanks for any help from you! ptoth
