  1. Cool photoshop effects! Try also using different sized brushes of the smudge tool (if you have a tablet), it works really well for making fire effects. The tablet pen allows for pressure sensitivity with the smudge tool, if you use a mouse it won't work so well though.

  4. Here is the first of the mansion interiors, I finally got a chance to work on President's day, sorry for being absent for so long.
  5. Only comment is that the neck is a little confusing. The cloth seems a bit bunched up, maybe it could come down a little ways in the front in a "V" shape or something. (though I may be wrong, perhaps the final textures will finish off the model)
  6. These are from about a year ago when I was working with the Middle Earth Mod for Morrowind. I don't know if its possible to model from this view, but I thought I'd post them just in case. Thankfully my drawing has improved a bit since then, lol.

    Absence

    Hey guys, sorry I've been so latent on the forums lately, but I'm having trouble finding time to work on the mod since cross-country has started up. I don't get home until 6 pm, and after a shower, dinner, and a few hours of homework, I can't find time to work on concepts. I will try to do as much work as possible on the weekends (and during school lectures), but I just wanted to inform the team of my situation and explain my absence.     When you say interior, do you mean all the rooms? How many stories should the mansion be? It will take some time to map out a floor plan, exterior elevations, and interior sketches, so I need some specifics.

    Hey, I know were having trouble depicting to the player that these guys are nearly immortal without showing much armor, so maybe we could give them some badassly decked out metal gauntlets since its the only visible portion of their bodies. Accompanied by the hammers, I think some deadly looking steel gaunts would do the trick. I could draw up some concepts if the idea sounds good.

  15. Heres a thread to start some concepts for the towns folk. These are just off the top of my head, I need to do some medieval clothing research to figure out the outfits in full, just thought I'd post these ideas.

Awesome job, just one comment: (though this may be do to my inability to see the full mesh in the darkened state) It seems that the arm comes up a little too abruptly towards the screen making his shoulder seem higher. Even though its probably anatomically correct, it just seems a little ackward. Nice job though, I've no knowledge of animation so I greatly respect all the work you guys have done. Keep it up!
  17. Hi, I accidentally came up with this in photoshop, I know its not of much use, but i just wanted to post it in case anyone wanted to use the .psd file and fool around with it or something. A jpeg version is also included in case you don't have photoshop. It took me about a minute or so of randomly hitting shaders, but suprisingly it turned out "dark and thief-like". Anyway, i'll get back to sketching now. lol Symbol.rar

  20. Does anyone need anymore character concepts? I can't seem an assignment list for objects/environments that need concept art. So if someone could specify what aspects of the mod need concept art I'd be glad to get started up again now that my SAT's are out of the way. Thanks, Kevin M.
