Not that I know of. I tried dragging the modified file into the materials folder in the Repository Browser but got the same error as before. I guess that will be the case. I'll prepare a zip for you. ~Daniel

There's nothing after the "'start commit' hook failed with error output:" line. Yes, I'm using TortoiseSVN and I have a password but it didn't ask for it. FYI, it displays the error after 104 bytes transfered. ~Daniel

I tried just now with the phrase "Snow textures with spec map by Dziarsky." in the text field but it gave the same error. Is there something specific that I need to add? ~Daniel

Okay, before I commit anything there's something that bothers me. According to the Wiki if there's a red exclamation mark over a file it means that the file have been modified by me. I'm seeing this mark on several map files: ////////////////////////// maps\city_area.ass32 maps\city_area.cm maps\city_area.proc maps\test\baddcog.cm maps\test\cutscene.cm maps\test\pool.cm \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ But I don't remember making any changes to those files other than testing them out, and I don't want to commit anything if it's going to cause problems later on. I'm thinking about nameing the textures "shiny_snow01" or "rough_snow01", does that sound good? ~Daniel

Hmmm, so I just move the files the right subfolders then right-click the Darkmod folder and select SVN Commit? Also, ... ...where are the texture files that need uploadin'? ~Daniel

FINALLY!! It completed at revision: 4423 BTW, how would I go about trying out some of the maps and features? I tried the dmlauncher.exe but it claimed that it couldn't load the default.cfg file. --------------------------------------<BR>Unknown command 'vid_restart'<BR>idRenderSystem::Shutdown()<BR>Shutting down OpenGL subsystem<BR>...shutting down QGL<BR>Couldn't load default.cfg<BR><BR> Any ideas?

Is the darkmod folder locked? I can't seem to update. It's been idle at 0kb/s in the /textures/stone/brick/ and when I try 'clean up' it says that a certain .tga file is "not under version control." Is there any way I can unlock it? ~Daniel

Whoops! I totally forgot about running it t hrough the Start menu. Now I can't download the Platform SDK because the Windows validation tool keeps returning an error due to a "technical difficulty". Ok, I got the whole thing installed. But, since I chose the "restart later" option I now have to manually complete the setup process. The thing is I don't know which file to click on. When I click on the Setup.exe or Aut orun.exe files it acts as though it wants to uninstall or reinstall the program. ~Daniel -

I got the same error myself when I tried it earlier, although it mentioned a different file I think. I'm downloading the full 500mb .img file right now to see if that works. ~Daniel
