Thanks guys, I'll see if there's an updated L&L & I'll try some other missions, be a damn shame if I can't get it to go though it's gorgeous -- edit -- Yup there's an updated version, I've nabbed it and I'm updating my mirror now, I'll let you know if I get issues with it One thought though is there a quick way of finding the version of a mission pk4 other than renaming it as a zip and looking for the readme ?

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help, I've looked through the faq and various threads on forum and not found anything that helps I've loaded TDM V2 from the Atomic Gamer zip file, ran tdm_update and TDM seemed to run flawlessly. I worked through the training missions, and Tears of St Lucia without any problems beyond getting used to the controls and making daft errors. Then I loaded up Lords & Legacy, I have to say it's a beautiful mission and I am loving it, but I'm getting an odd problem where TDM hangs when I get to certain locations, seems to be when I open doors that I get this problem. Once I leave the slums there's what I would say is a watch tower with a patrolling guard carrying a torch, inside the tower there's a corridor with doors at both ends, one doesn't frob at all and the other is locked, picking this open causes my system to hang every time I've tried it. I don't think it's an issue with TDM or Lords & Legacy I think it's my system as initially it was just on one door but then I had this on another door which I managed to open without issue on a previous attempt, if it was TDM or L&L the problem would stay in one place, plus the FM thread would probably have mentioned the problem by now if it were the FM. My system specs are - Windows 7 Professional SP1 (64 Bit) - Intel Core i7-4770 @3.4Ghz - 8Gb Ram - Nvidia Quadro K600 (192 cores, 1Gb Frame Buffer) - Nvidia Graphics Driver 320.09 - Running with 16:9 aspect ratio 1920x1080res, fullscreen, no vsync, antialias off & texture anisotropy at 1x - TDM is installed in folder 'darkmod' If anyone can give me a pointer I'd be grateful, if you need any more information ask away.

  5. Found 'em, would have helped if I'd got the spyglass first though, I'd tell you which ones I missed but I'm not sure how to do spoiler tags on here. One thing I did find in objects & manipulation there's a floating light source thats missed the torch it's supposed to be in see pic 1 & pic 2 it's in the area with the food Smaller versions of those pics are Hope this is of use, absolutely loving this and this is just the training mission, thanks guys
  6. I'm loving this, thank you so much for TDM. One question has anyone managed to find all 10 health potions ? I've got 8 of them but the last two are proving elusive.

Hi, I'd like to combine some functions in the keybinds Currently I can set "always run" and I'll always run which I don't want to do, or I can use a direction key and the run key to run in that direction, which is doable but I'm not a huge fan of it What I'd like to do is have single buttons for walk backwards, creep forward, walk forward and run forward. Strafing and the other movement functions seems fine as they are for me. The only one I'm missing is a forward + run bound to a single key, is it possible to edit the cfg file to add that ?

    Doom seems to have a ton of keybinds that you can use in the DoomConfig file, I've found _impulse0 through to _impulse63, _button0 through to _button7 and a bunch of slightly less cryptic commands, does anyone have a list of what all the commands are and what they do ?   11. worked like a charm, just have to remember to run doom at least once before Dark Mod, well at least on my syste ooh! any chance a mod can remove the extra "a" from the thread title, my typing is usually a lot better than that
  12. brilliant! thank you and may I add, the dark mod is incredible, I'm working through the training mission to get used to the controls but so far I have to say this is pretty much what I wanted from deadly shadows but never got, thank you for all the hard work
  13. hi there, due to reasons beyond my control I need to restore a backup of my machine from before I put doom and darkmod on, now I've no problem reinstalling doom, but I was wondering can I make a backup of the darkmod folder and pull that back after I've finished all my other stuff and reinstalled Doom3, rather than run the darkmod downloader again as the download takes a really long time ?
