  1. I "finished" this absolutely outstanding mission on medium difficulty, ticking off the main objectives and a couple of optionals. Then I realised I was missing an entire digit off the loot score.
  2. Okay simply closing and opening the door fixed this! I've finished this mission now, and all the other Hidden Hands missions. Incredible work, Jack, each mission was very different yet super compelling. I look forward to further work from you.
  3. Jack, I might have to try your beta version. I've encountered a letter and key in one of the cubby holes of a machine room that I cannot frob, they don't light up at all. Noclipping close makes no difference.
  4. Thanks for replying, Jack! I've updated to beta 2.10-08, tried again, and do not get the overpowering sine wave repeating. So it already seems to fix the issue? A small point btw: I think it's a design... frustration to make the player wait for the recording to finish before the hatch opens, IMHO it should open and the recording should play at the same time. Let the player decide if they want to stay and listen (e.g. first time players).
  5. I'm attempting to play this mission having played through the previous ones (and thoroughly enjoying them). I've hit a very strange bug. When trying to jump down the hatch at the beginning, the game plays a very loud sine wave that does not go away. I'm running TDM 2.09. Here are some save games: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vsktckoxzrm1hp0/savegames.zip?dl=0
  6. Grayman, thank you for answering. I don't wish to appear critical, but it does seem to me that asking users to place the game in a folder with a particular name is a peculiar and unnecessary requirement. But having renamed the tdm_win folder to darkmod, and started your mission from the beginning, I can now save and load the game.
  7. Springheel: Are you quoting me or nbohr? Either way it seems like poor coding (frankly) would be the only reason TDM "must" be within a folder called darkmod. Clearly this isn't a requirement as other missions play just fine. So, nbohr's suggestion seems odd to me.
  8. Thanks for the suggestion, but I've tried D:\Games\darkmod, and D:\darkmod and there is no difference. I've tried three other missions (Penny Dreadful, St. Lucia and the Training Mission) and they save/re-load with no issues. Very odd.
  9. I'm having trouble playing this. It begins fine but upon loading a saved game, I receive a message along the lines of "Couldn't load D:\Games\tdm_win\maps\ws1_north.script" This is using a fresh install of TDM 2.0
