  1. No, Artbreeder merge existing images to an new different one, it's collaborative between AI and the user. It's differnt from those like Craiyon, nightcafe and others, which crete images by a promt rom the user. You put f.Exmple Middleage city in a starry night, and the AI create an image which show this.

Criyon is 100 free to use, also Nightcafe, but only with limited resolution. There are also a lot of others, but mostly only free with limitation.

Some here will reject this due to copyright concerns, I think. Even though it may be extraordinarily difficult to unbake this cookie and find out what it's made of, to the satisfaction of a court.

No copyrights in randomly created images by an AI.

Different in Artbreeder, it's the user who create an image, blending different images with the help of an AI. There are possible copyright claims from the author.

Same in the AI apps which use Text to image, but there the work of the author is only putting a text, because of this the copyright is somewhat relative.  But in the case of randomly created textures, who will claim a copyright? The page only has a TOS for it's use respect the tools it offers and images which you upload, but the images in the pages are free to use.

In addition, users forego any copyright and other rights to the images they upload or post on the site.

  3. Maybe a great band for a TDM soundtrack

@OktokoloOkay thanks for taking the time to clarify that. I guess I learned something today. Thank you :)

Replying to a spambot is useless, the only thing you have to do as a user is to report the message (clicking in the three points and select Report), with this the mods receive a notice even by mail to delete it if they haven't seen it or are in the Forum in this moment.

I also tested Flameshot and it's great, but (afaics) it doesn't have the ability to edit existing images that are not created with the tool and therefore it's less useful for TDM users, because the screenshots are made inside TDM.

Thanks for the reminder about ShareX, I check it out as well.

Edit: ShareX has the same functionality and more (you can record your screen as well). Amazing. Because of the many features it does look more bloated and is therefore possibly a little more complicated, but it could be worth it.

Ah, that's why I didn't see it at first. Indeed a bummer.

Anyway the image editing in the Screenshot tools are always limited, but this isn't a problem when they have a share functión (most to imgur, but I prefer vgy.me which I use in ShareX). I simply paste the share url in this editor for further editing.

I just found this awesome cross-platform software to make and edit screenshots:

    https://github.com/ksnip/ksnip

I think it's very useful for people beta testing missions and other kind of feedback based on screenshots. You can load in existing images (for example TDM screenshots) and edit them.

I use ShareX, also FOSS and the most complete, but sadly only for Windows. Also a very fine app is Flameshot, cross patform and also FOSS
