It is pretty cool looking when you get it down right. I saw this video and learned to do it last year, and now I end up doing it all the time whenever I have a coin in my hand, thus getting many comments on how amazingly awsome it is.

y unwrap do you mean making uv maps? If so there's a free program that will do that for you. Yea, I may be able to make skins But I dont have the technical lightwave skill to unwrap models. If I could get it that'd be quite cool

There has never been a socirty where wanton random murder of anyone for any reason is seen has right. Of course there have been socirties where certain types of killing under specific circumstances are accpeted, but that occurs even in our own. War for example, or as punishment for some crimes, or self defence. Or because you feel insulted and challenged them in the street, or your a higher rank and dont like the way they acted twards you or a paranoid ruler kiling those aound you to keep yourself safe.

dit - Slightly OT, but something I just thought of: is it possible to do a "notes" screen like in Thief 2 with Doom 3's GUI? That is, the player can type things onto the screen, to keep notes. If it's very hard to do I guess it's no big deal. Ive been studying the editdefs ingame for the options menu, but making a blank typing area with them would seem possibly. The only thing ide be unsure about is length (the defs have a cutoff at some pretty low chracter length so multiple ones might be need like pages in a book....might get prety lengthy, but itd be a cool effect)

Actually We can implement Scrollbars in D3, just cause I don't know how doens tmean its not possible Ive been really busy with rl and havnt had time to find it in the code but I know some specific areas (multiplayer load menu ingametext) where scrollbars are used. Its fine both ways though so if scrolllist is easier (not sure it will be) that works too. Sorry pak as ive said ive been busy in RL. As for scaling fonts that are nonimages have 3 different sizes that are possible to get work (more shouldbe possible but thats the default ingame and thats all ive tried) but really scroll bars are a much better option

In the real world, there are laws, and always have ben laws, stating that murder is wrong, and you have to obey them, if you decide that you don't agree, and that killing is actually a good thing to do, then you'll be removed from society. ^ Off topic but there've been quite a few societies in which murder hasn't been considered wrong.

I kind of missed whatever set off the discussion, but what does flaunting your body have to do with being a object? I completley miss the connection. Why is is a negative to be sexy and why should that cause people to disregard the person as opposed to giving more respect?

So oddity what about hallucinigens or stimulants without negative effect?

I think macsen brings up a good point though. The point being that people use alchohol as a way to have fun. I have had alchohol before and in many ways things do seem more fun/funny, however I also realize that their are much better ways of getting these same effects. But this brings me to another question. There was a drug (I can't think of the name now) that scientist were testing and found that it had no real negative effects besides being a stimulant+hallucinigen (similar to shrooms). If people used something with no negative effects then is it ok?(directed at Oddity+forsaken)

I thinks theres arguments for both sides. Theres negative effects but people also have positive effect s(the whole rreason people do them in the first place). I personally don't do drugs/drink but i would never try to push my choice on anyone, as the large portion of my friend do both. I think both can be good choices depending on who you are

well you can see a partial functionality version of the menu on the FTP now..but the one their still lacks loadgame/option in options

actually then menu isnt in secret theres a copy on the FTP.... the main thing is that it is the same as tyhe concept cept with sound and buttons.

actually the menus perfectly far along to be shown, however it is identical (basically) to the menu that is shown in the concepts. Still if anyone wants to see it they can go right ahead...theres a slightly old (no options menu or new game) placed on the FTP in the darkmod/miscellaneous folder

ahha but as it happens we have a global team and humor is extreamly hard to translate into other cultures. For instance in many places arm around another man shoulder wouldnt be considered homosexual at all, perhaps the reasoning for forsakens confusion. *nods sagely*
