I know I said GTX 750Ti or GTX 950 but further checking and the GTX 960 is virtually the same price as the 950 (only £10 more expensive) so that is a much better option if the 750Ti won't do it

Yes you can see that in the video where the text on signs in the distance becomes much clearer on Low setting because the mist/blur effect is removed

Actually looking at the minimum spec it is a GTX 660 which would need a GTX 960 to match as the GTX 950 is lacking in memory bandwidth This seems rather silly when the recommended spec is a GTX 970 So I will wait to see what lowenz reports otherwise it could get rather expensive Another check - the Radeon 7870 is totally outclassed by the GTX950 on some reviews but on others the reverse so colour me confused

Off Topic - a bit I posted earlier that when beta testing Volta and the Stone I had a lot of cracks like fireworks when EAX was enabled I just tried it again and the problem seems to haver gone away It may or may not be relevant was that with the beta version EAX had specifically been supported in the FM and it was possible that this support had been removed in the final version

I thought that EAX support wasn't going to be added/supported until 2.05 I tried it in Volta and the Stone and got a lot of popping/cracks

I am still using 2009 and see no reason to give them any money to upgrade

I suspect that you will need to do it as an illegal download and I am not going to suggest ways of doing that

As an aside - playing Knighton Manor it would appear that a guard was slightly alerted (I wasn't aware of it) and dropped the lantern on the grass near to entrance to the woodshed Fortunately I had a water arrow left to take out the nearby torch otherwise I would have been stuck How the guard became alerted I have no idea given the stealth score

It may be subjective (that means I could well be wrong) but the smaller missions now seem to load a lot faster than the bigger ones whereas before there didn't seem to be as great a difference

Selected William Steel 1, 2 and 3 for download - clean install The first one started at 10% and only when the download got up to that did it increment The second one did the same but when it reached 65% it stalled then restarted and finished as usual The third one stayed on 0% for ages then finished very rapidly
