  1. I think a project like this would be the best base for anyone who wants to make a true spiritual successor to System Shock 2. (Remember that SS2 was based on the Thief engine!)
  2. It would be cool if load times could be reduced. Doom 3 doesn't take long to load on my machine, but TDM takes for. ever. to load on my quad-core Intel Core i7.
  3. Apart from that, I noticed that the doors all sound like metal when hitting them with the sword or blackjack.
  4. Yeah, I mentioned that one here a while back. I kind of like it, although obviously it's got to be fixed. I do like the idea of a Metal Gear-style cardboard box (crate?) for the protagonist to hide under, though.
  5. the AI can't find or use a bow themselves' Does that mean that AI can go find and use weapons?
  6. Oh yes: I just found out that you can use carryables to cast a shadow on yourself and avoid guards. You an also use them to push guards out of the way.
  7. My thoughts on the crates is that they should default to frobbable, like in TDP. But is it possible to see the hand holding the body on the right hand side of the screen like in TDP? And in Deus Ex, too. I'm guessing the current shouldering system is just a placeholder, though.
