  1. This is such a great idea!, too bad its likely i won't be able to participate, i have too much in my plate right now
  2. I'm having problems with setting up the briefing for a FM, it always shows up blank I tried everything in the wiki, i'm sure i wrote the briefing right because i tried copying the test briefing from the wiki and it still doesn't work Any ideas?
  3. Hint By the way, has anyone managed to ghost the mission?, i can't take the crown without alerting the other guards and placing the fake doesn't seem to do much good
  4. Well..i'm not exactly a great mapper but i can tell you from my own experience that Dark Radiant is very user friendly and it doesn't take much time for you to build a decent map
  5. Its not the ambient light, i adjusted the gamma of the pic so that its more easy to watch
  6. Okay, here we go again , this are some pics of my new work, i'm just asking if i'm on the right track. There is one more think i'll like to ask, i know i have still much to learn but i'm interested in becoming a beta mapper, i feel somewhat limited with using only the saint lucia resources and i really like to map (which is something new for me )
  7. Don't worry, the only thing i deleted was the city buildings (the second set of pics) the rest is still intact
  8. well, that was a lot more help that i expected, thanks everyone for taking your time. After i posted at this thread i decided that i didnt like what i was doing and start over (i kept the police station for now) and started to map the city differently somewhat like melan said, irregular buildings.It's too early to see if its an improvement or not but i'll post a pic when i have something done Oh and Springheel those shots look REALLY good
  9. I have been trying (very slowly) to build a very small city around my map, i'll post some preliminary shots and see if you guys can help make it better this is a city watch station any criticism?

  12. Thanks a lot for the replies, i am planning to expand the mission to include some city streets before you get to the manor. But before that i still cant make the readables work, is there any specific command besides dmap to load xdata? (i alredy made a xdata folder with everything)
  13. First of all i would like to congratulate the team for all their work. As soon as i finished saint lucia i was so excited about the potential of this project that i decided to give the editor a try Here are some pics of my work, its only interiors since i have still much to learn Now to the questions, I am having problems with the readables, i can't seem to make them work on my mission, i tried repacking the mission in pk4 files but it doesnt seem to work. Any ideas?
