  1. I said I haven't done any impressions in a while, and I was trying to mimic Caroline John, so no, they wouldn't fit a male character.
  2. Here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ise0ammk0wsrpko/TDMTestSamples.rar Please note that these are just test samples, and I haven't done any impressions in a while. May also need to adjust the recording device a bit...
  3. So, how many of you have downloaded that little mod I made for the demo?
  4. Stealth game fans should try out the new Death to Spies 3 Demo. Here's a playthrough video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkIvU_PCqFg Here's the link for those who want to try out the demo: http://www.haggardga...ad.php?tid=1539 Please spread this video on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or other social networking sites, as well as gaming forums. The more people who support Death to Spies 3, the easier it will be for Haggard Games to release the final product. Thank you!
  5. Perhaps I could give it a try! I bought a new headset a while ago, just need to see if it works better than my old microphone.
  6. Here's a video showing my recent work, as well as XendroX's textures.
  7. All but one of them are from UK fiction...
  8. Certain characters in my planned missions are going to be named after characters from various works. Try and guess where the names come from. The gang leader in my planned first mission is named Percy Pym, and some of his underlings are named Bottomly, Standforth, Greenbottle, and De Pledge. Some City Watch higher-ups you will encounter in the planned prison mission are named Hollister, Ackerman, Knott, Todhunter, and Thornton. And finally, I'm thinking of naming the pirate captain "Captain Mildred". What do you think about having the pop culture references in there?
  9. Just remember that these are still concepts. I'll work out the origins of the characters when I decide to get round to it.
  10. I can't seem to get all the loot in this mission. I have collected 1069 out of 1189 loot So where could the other 120 be?
  11. Yeah, that's going to be a bit of an issue, given that there aren't enough female models and voices. Though we can create new models based around the female rogue and female thief models and remove the boots.
  12. Some time in the future, I intend to try making a map for TDM. This will be the first of a series of missions I have potential plots for, each one part of an overarching storyline. Right now, I have at least five missions with settings I thought of: 1. A thieves' hideout. A wealthy merchant has arranged to come to this hideout to do a business deal with the gang's leader (First mission, and I'll make the map small). 2. A mansion. You track the merchant to this place, loot it, and find out who his business partners are. 3. A prison. You infiltrate this place in order to rescue a fence who knows the whereabouts of a pirate captain. 4. Docks. You infiltrate a warehouse or other establishment, observe the captain, and follow her back to her ship and end the mission hiding among some yet-to-be-loaded cargo (What do you think about the idea of having an all-female crew in a TDM mission? Also, this will be the largest of the five I have concepts for). 5. Ship. Loot the place and read the captain's log and/or cargo manifests before heading back to your starting point, while not being seen by the crew and without resorting to violence (including blackjacking). The ambient track used in the "House of Theo" mission (mansion_piano01.ogg) could be used for the ship's interior. Any future mission I might have a try at making could have the following features: Lots of conversations. It kind of bugs me how there aren't that many scripted conversations in TDM missions. Briefing videos, complete with voiceover. There just aren't that many voiced briefing videos in TDM missions. Sensitive AI. You'll need to think twice every time you open a door, snuff out a torch, or steal even a single valuable. Extra NPCs on higher difficulty levels. Is it possible to do this in TDM? Optional objectives involving stealing every loot in the mission (inspired by Lords & Legacy). What do you think about this? I don't have time to start using DarkRadiant, I have enough stuff to do, but sometime during the year, I'll start looking into DarkRadiant and its features. For now, I'm posting these concepts here. What do you think about these concepts?
  13. Oh, in that case, yes you will get acknowledgement in the credits.
  14. No, I'm not paying anybody. This next task should be simple enough.
  15. I received a PM from XendroX a while ago saying that he can't focus on the current job I asked him to do due to real life matters. So I'm looking for others on this forum to help me with this simple task in the meantime. http://rapidshare.co...B7549418BFFE8D8 sol300.dds is the one you should edit. Pay attention to both sol310.jpg and sol320.jpg. Notice the lines on the collar (left side of the map)? Now consult this webpage: http://www.uniformin...d=53&result=593 Consult the third and fourth pictures from the top. Notice the lines on the rightmost image? I want these lines to replace the lines I drew on the jpg images. When you're done, save sol300.dds as sol310.dds and sol320.dds. Don't bother making a NormalMap of these textures, they're unneccessary this time. If someone, or perhaps XendroX if he's not caught up in anything else, can help me with this simple task, I'll be grateful. I hope I have explained this task well enough. Thank you!
  16. Thanks, it perfectly matches the colour! I think from now on I'll give you any future jobs via PM.
  17. LOL, good one! I would have liked to have seen her do voice acting in a video game (The Elder Scrolls, for example). Sadly, she died nearly two years ago.
  18. Here's another easy job for you: http://rapidshare.co...CF850720F5A478D I just want the colour of "german_casca03.dds" to match the uniform colour of "german_soldier01.dds". "helm2.dds" is my attempt at matching the colour, and should serve as a guide for you. When you're done, please save "german_casca03.dds" as "helm2.dds". Can you do it for me, please? Thank you!
  19. Oh... didn't think of that, sorry! But yes, the Dark Mod is awesome.
  20. Thanks for these! I'll be sure to add you to the credits in the next version of my MoTmod Addon. BTW, TGA files are unnecessary, Bitmap is fine!
  21. These are perfect! Don't forget about the other instructions in the OP.
  22. Try and make it the same colour as in "K019368full" (lightning bolt) and "Picture 7932" (star and gold border). Or make the lightning bolt the same colour as breast eagle and make the star and border the same colour as machine part (navalman_body1.dds).
  23. And here you go! You're probably going to have to make them smaller though, especially when adding the gold border around them and the machine part.
  24. Here's a sketch of where the star should be. But like I said, please consult "Picture 7932" for how the star should look on the texture.
  25. I've been struggling for years to find an expert in editing 3D textures (.dds files) and converting them to NormalMap. Since this is a stealth game project forum, and some members have made textures for the Dark Mod, I hope to find better luck here. There's a WWII-themed stealth game called "Death to Spies", which has a sequel called "Death to Spies: Moment of Truth" (though the latter is more like an expansion for the original DtS, and it was originally intended as such). A friend of mine made a mod a while back which allows you to play all the missions from DtS on Moment of Truth's graphics engine. The current version of this mod is MoTmod 1.11. From the moment the first version of the mod came out, I've been making extra modifications to it such as replacing sound files, replacing weapons of certain NPCs, and fixing a few developer oversights. Version 1.10 of the official MoTmod contained a revamp of the first DtS mission, in which NPCs have new skins based on historically accurate uniforms. When it came out, I decided to make historically accurate skins for all the missions from both games. Now I have some experience with editing textures, but I don't have the same expertise as the artist who made the new skins for MoTmod 1.10. I just want help with replacing or adding extra insignia, as well as changing colours to match that of another texture. If there's anyone out there who's interested in helping, please start by clicking on this RapidShare link: http://rapidshare.co...BC469CC7CAB41E4 This contains a Kriegsmarine uniform texture, an edited version for you to replace the insignia, and some pictures taken off the internet so you know what to replace the original insignia with. I'll post some instructions here: "navalman_body1.dds" is the original texture file. Note the machine part, that's the original insignia. "navalman_body1_ddn.bmp" is the NormalMap of the texture. "plan.dds" is the texture you should use to draw the insignia. Now look at "Picture 7932.jpg". Ignore the gold border for now, and just draw the star. After that, look at "K019368full.jpg" and draw the lightning bolt. After that, add the gold border around the machine part, star, and lightning bolt insignia. Here's how to save the edited versions of "plan.dds" as a new file: sol00.dds: Add just the star. radist_body.dds: Add just the lightning bolt. enlisted_body1.dds: Add the gold border around the star. enlisted_body2.dds: Add the gold border around the machine part. enlisted_body3.dds: Add the gold border around the lightning bolt. I hope these instructions help. Thanks!
