Pretty sad when a 3.5 GHz CPU loses to a 3.3 GHz CPU in a race... especially when the 3.5 GHZ CPU is a couple years newer! The older chip rendered a scene in 3:05 and the newer one took 3:55!

I just purchased thief4 on piratebay (to test it, don't judge me) and found out my machine does not meet the minimum requirements. New computers are so expensive but I think it's time

You've got to take a moment and appreciate older games that come with pages and pages of documentation on the disk, which teach you how to use the level editor. They even shipped with example levels, showing the features. Man, this industry has changed so much...

So, there's a new tablet coming out called the "Mipad". Isn't that a bit like poking a bear with a stick? ... a very letigious bear at that!

Why does a text editor choke and tell me there is not enough memory to open a 2 meg txt file, on a machine with 1 GB of RAM? I would expect this behavior from a machine in 1993, but today? really?

Mapper tip: When you have an area you have no idea what it should contain, fill it with crates, barrels and junk. Call it "storage." Problem solved.

If you wanted to do cycles-3D rendering on your laptop, but it got to over 90 degrees C and you didn't have a cooling pad, how would YOU solve the problem? (answer below!)

I've got a great idea. Let's create a mobile OS, allow external SD cards, and constantly change the default mount point. Today its /sdcard/sdcard, tomorrow it will be /mnt/external_sd, and heaven help you find it in the next version, because we don't ship with an actual file browser for you to find it!
