  1. With the first version, I had that too. It looks like the water climbs vertically. Didn't encounter it on a later version (not sure which, though).

  5. I assumed there might be some books or something that'll give the player hints. I'm stuck at the lowest elevator level, below the mansion and have no idea how to use the little pillar switch thing. OK, nevermind. When I first saw the picture
  6. No. I obviously am. What's the weird potion for? How do I use the little pillar switch thing on the lowest elevator floor of the mansion / how do I open the door by the water?
  7. In the upper floor of the museum, on a shelf/table with a sign 'stable aurite ...' sits a blocky thing which sparkles through the magic goggles, but cannot be frobbed. What's that about? Also, people in this thread talk like there was some way to know what to do ... is there? I've been running around in circles for hours, no new objectives, nothing. I'm obviously missing something, but what? Where's the friggin manual? I'm so confused.
  8. Video is not easy. But I tried again with an older save and succeeded this time. From my sample of n=1, I think that leaving the fence's house before doing the transaction breaks something. In yesterday's attempt (when it didn't work), I left after bonking the lady downstairs and looking around for a bit (took me a while to remember I had to knock on the door). Also, when not finishing the transaction, leaving the house and coming back, other weird things might happen. I found the door closed again, but the arm still there with an empty plate (the non-frobbable items gone). Knocking again would trigger the fence anew while making the arm move further into the hallway (a bit more each time you repeat this).
  9. How do you take the map and gold pouch from the fence? Neither can be frobbed. This was mentioned 12/2021 in this thread (and I think I encountered the same thing on my first go 1 or 2 years ago). PS: In the name of science, I noclipped into the fence's room, took the stuff (it was frobbable then) and knocked on the door after that to do the transaction, but the objective still doesn't clear.
