  1. That's too funny. We should seriously consider that title. It's a very sly, tounge in cheek, reference and I don't think it can get us in any trouble. It's not that much different than Irrational games taking "System Shock" and turning it into "Bio Shock". I think that it even carries a message to not take things so seriously. Would we risk it? I pulled that menu from a screen shot of S-Holes retro menu just to set the stage for that little mock up, but when it comes down to it, I think the parchment really works. Actually, it would really tie the style of the game together since we would definately want to have in between mission briefings in the Style of T1 and T2. Yeah, I'm quite fond of it, this really seems to gel.
  2. Probably about 70 or 80... HAHAHA, j/k. I dunno, I guess as many as we can within reason considering logic, time, energy and team/system capabilities. I don't know how many are typically used in games... do you? Different body shapes should also be considered; that's why I created a sketch for a heaftier guard. Doom 3 already has a couple different body types, so that'll probably help us. I like the goatee look on your character there, though. Helps make him look menacing.
  3. fair enough. But I have to beat the system into you or you won't learn it.
  4. I reckon with Fingernail's target platform suggestion, and Kappow's "low end" system, we (well, you guys, cause I don't have D3 just yet) could use the equivelant of the "show stats" feature and come up with some guidline figures to keep the complexity at, for people who are level editing. Good point Renzatic, if Doom 3 plays like Doom 2, with its hundreds of monsters at one time stuff, we should be able to make things look prettier than the original Doom3 levels in our Thief version.
  5. btw- my PC just meets the bare minimum system requirements for Doom 3, if anyone wants testing on a low end machine.
  6. Hi, I would like to work on the background music for some or all of the levels, depending on specification of course. I currently only use a shitty four-track system with various instruments, but I am confident I can create something decent and Thief-like (without ripping off the original games music or Thievery techno-style stuff).
