I broke DR?

I haven't done much since last I used DR but I upgraded to the latest ati drivers. Now every copy of DR I have comes up with this error:

Even 1.02 doesn't work anymore. They all get the same error. I tried reinstalling the latest DR and it still did the same thing.

Sounds like your ATI driver is broken (wouldn't surprise me, given my own experiences with their shitty drivers).

Interesting, it's a pretty generic error.

 

Have you restarted?

Have you tried doing a fresh install using drivercleaner or manually removing files? (if you have an app running during the update it could have locked one of the opengl driver dlls from being updated, a mismatch like this could easily give an error like this.)

Can other games run?

Can doom3/tdm run(make sure you start a map)?

Ahhh all it needed was a restart apparently. I dunno, this happens to me sometimes and DR just wont work even with a restart then later on it works fine. It's like a ghost lives in my computer.
