When I'm trying to build the current version of the game, the linker tells me the following:

1>------ Skipped Build: Project: MayaImport, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------
1>Project not selected to build for this solution configuration
2>------ Build started: Project: Engine, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------
2>Build started 15.05.2014 14:01:45.

2>InitializeBuildStatus:
2> Touching "K:\darkmod_src\\build\Win32\Debug\intermediate\Engine\Engine.unsuccessfulbuild".
2>ClCompile:
2> All outputs are up-to-date.
2> All outputs are up-to-date.
2> All outputs are up-to-date.
2> win_snd.cpp

========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 3 up-to-date, 1 skipped ==========

What does that mean and how can I solve it.

I have the Direct X SDK installed and the include path added in the project properties.

I'm running on Win7 64bit.

Nevermind, I had to add the lib path, too.

Hmm that's the engine that's failing to build. If it's just the game you want, use the DebugWithoutMFC build configuration which is set up not to try to rebuild the engine.

I've not seen that linker error, but I build the engine using vs2013 libraries (I coudn't find a 2010 pro trial download any more) so I've got it set up a bit differently.

EDIT: crossed, this was a reply to post #1

Today I started writing readables for my WIP mission.
I wrote my usual text and then crammed it into AI and boom, high quality stuff comes out.
I used to say that clipper is the mappers best friend, but now it seems it is more like "AI is the mappers best friend."

Is there a thread for "Moving Day 2: Look Who's Moving Now"? If not, could someone hint me on what is Dick's birthday? This mission is quite enjoyable on its disturbing creepy implications.
