T2 FM: Breaking the Stone by Hipbreaker (14/06/2014)

I might try this one as it's by Hipbreaker and it seems appropriate as I shortly have to have both hips done. I've just had a go at Thief the Metal Age after last playing it ten years ago. Still had a lot of fun but gave up on the very last mission Sabotage at Soulforge , too many puzzles and making things to progress for me. I still look on it as one of the worst thief missions and very boring. Anyway , I prefer wandering around castles and the like and breaking into rooms !

Hilarious; that's probably my favorite mission in the bunch. Most of the complicated "make this" routines are optional, and the sheer size of the level makes it a challenge. I had dumped all of my weaponry and items in the first half of the level, thinking that there was nothing else after it, and the 2nd half was one of the more harrowing, intense experiences of my thieving career. Subsequent playthroughs were not as exciting, but I'll always remember my first trip through it.
