Having the hands on screen ALL THE TIME is annoying, alright, and definitely gets in the way of gameplay as it blocks the vision. However, I admit I like some hand animations, like opening doors or when grabbing a ledge.

Just realised - look at 5.16 and then again at 5.57 (when he goes indoors). He stands up and the hands vanish. He crouches and they appear again. I have the horrible feeling _they're a crouch indicator._
