  1. Merry Christmas Sneaksie, hope you and everyone else has a good holiday.
  2. Hey Thanks arjuna, glad you enjoyed them.
  3. Those look pretty good. Are you going to make forking tunnels and stuff? So you can just add and rotate and you'll quickly get a nice system going? Like if those were to be sewers, or just a really complicated city network. I was thinking how useful that kind of stuff could be. With a game like this it can be tough to have to make everything, but these prefabs are nice. You can mix and match and still make them flow good together. A game like Never Winter Nights has a tileset, I think it would be cool to have a quasi-tileset with these prefabs because it will save a lot of time.
  4. Ah. Well I just got the email, both are now up and ready to dl.
  5. Thats because the moddb site has to verify it and make theres no duplicate downloads etc. Sometime it can take a little bit. Sometimes you'll notice when a mod has put out a new video on that site, it will be a gray screen, its waiting for processing.
  6. Shit, yeah I was gonna do that. I was hesitant at first because of the bug that Xp users ran into, but greebo took care of that. Doing that now. DONE! I also put the zip file for Linux Users.
  7. Cool, thanks Daniel, that should help. I found this tutorial for making custom languages in N++, http://weblogs.asp.net/jgalloway/archive/2...in-notepad.aspx my class starts soon so I won't be able to do anything till after.
  8. Doing a quick google search isn't giving me too many good leads. You can do C in NP++. I'm not sure how you'd customize it.
  9. How about creating a custom TDM scripting language set for Notepad++? I believe it is possible to import user defined languages, like a plugin. NP++ is amazing, and linux users can run it under WINE.
  10. I just installed the bugfix, and it indeed is fixed. Thanks Greebs, I can save again!
  11. I haven't noticed any difference in the direction they're pointing.
  12. DUUUUUUUDE DOT is amazing! Now I want to go home and play Sam and Max, and Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, Indiana Jones and the Fate of atlantis, and all the sierra adventure games like Space quest, kings quest, quest for glory, Gabriel knight. leisure suit larry. AAAAAAAAAAAAAH
  13. I believe that was only in QFG I and II. I don't remember being able to do that in QFG4
  14. I believe you select the object you wanna surround and rightclick. There should be a "Surround with monsterclip" option to select.
  15. I just rebooted, and DR is using 582,860 K/bs of memory.
  16. Hey Greebo, I'm getting some problems with .9.8. In the task manager, DR is now taking up a lot of memory. 583,740 Kb/s It was 100,000ish earlier. My virus scan wasn't running at the time. Also, it won't save the map. I have to save the changes as a new map, eg. Map1. If I click save, nothing really happens, because I'll exit DR, and it tells me that the map has changed and if I wish to save, but that doesn't do it either. dmapping and reloading the map in DR doesn't show any changes, unless I save as a copy. specs: q6600 2.4 quad 4 gig ram 8800 GT XP SP3 Anyone else getting these problems?
  17. Thanks for your kind words Gambit. Interesting that you mentioned randomness, there was a thread recently where the subject of random spawns etc. happening in TDM, came up. I'm going to try to see what I can do when I get some work done. Welcome to the forums btw.
  18. Go play AOM:DC NOW! I'll take an awesome point.
  19. I'm a little confused as to what you are saying. You forget to save your map? Do you have autosave enabled?
  20. I agree with you Jdude. Steam used to be a pain in the butt sometimes, when it first came out. But as they fixed the bugs, its really great. I love how if I lose a CD, or I bring my comp to a friend's house for a lan and want to install a game, I can just go to my games list and download them. I've been really impressed with what steam has done. The only thing I have a problem with is when you buy a digital download, you don't get the box/manual/cd. Sure its convenient and you have it forever (with steam), I like having the original stuff that came with it. Its cool when I can find that old game years down the road and still be able to play it. I try to keep all my games together. I have a computer museum in my basement, (I found in my old Apple IICI, a floppy disk 5, for Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis) I should open a real one.
  21. I agree. Adventure games, a big chunk of my childhood
