  2. Like I see it's not changed... Can anyone share with me characters models in non-md5 format, obj preferred? I want make from them clothes for wardrobe and don't want to make new models for this..
  3. Aaaaah.. Ok now %) I made openable wardrobe and remember that it some thread Bikerdude talking that there are no clothes to fill it. Has situation changes or not?
  4. I don't sure that I clearly understand what do you mean... By geometry I think it looks like Great bed of Ware.. About appearance - in original version it has more carving details, but to made them well visible, there must be 3-4 texture 1024x1024 size.. Smaller images will not show all beauty. Make it like my models - add gold details and change gamma? That's what you mean, because Great Bed of Ware hasn't metal parts.. P.S. And I don't know what is valence, and dictionary doesn't help %)
  5. Screened up my work for wallpaper texture. Maybe can be useful for someone who have some practice in LW For wallpaper texture I use tilling colored image from internet %). First of all I create in photoshop Alpha map for this image, small trick to half size dimension of image and then make it 2 colored. I use brightness\contrast, hue\saturation\lightness, Curves, change color and erase tools for making it good 2 colored version. After done I resized it to original dimensions, this operation makes slightly soft edges between black and white colors. This map we need to make main bump between background and decor, and use it like alpha for possibility to setting up different bump for background and for decor After alpha was done, I made specular map. Most useful is Selection by color, to light up needed details in image and leave other black. Next was setting LW scene and adjusting bump map for what you need in normal map..

  7. Very good idea, strange that it's absent almost in all games... It's really annoying when only 1 quicksave, I prefer to play only with quicksaves and there are moments when you saving in wrong time and must restart, or when it corrupted....Arghh..

  10. Going on.. Resized bed for animation sleeping. Made chair and stool equipable with collision models. Made commode with drawers.. Its becoming more alive Want to made all openable %)
  11. Thanks for explaining, one thing remain - when I'll setup my commode with drawers, how to save it for using in other maps?

  13. I understand that we have wiki, but it isn't so full of needed info like forum. I think it should be thread "Tutorials" in Editing and Design, because time spent to find something is too much more that should be and asking for help every time isn't politely.. Today I have such questions: Where find tutorial for making frobable(openable) desks etc.? Where can be downloaded working properly plugins md5mesh and anim import\export for LW, and what version of LW should work with them? I want to make my chair moveable, what I have to add? Collision model or I can set up collision borders in editor and how it must be done if it is possible? If I decided to make bath with water (not know, but I want %) ), in what direction I should look to make it full of water with maybe flowing stream of water? I think that almost all answers on my questions should be founded in thread "Tutorials" , but it is absent for now... Wiki is good but it's simpler to make some tutor. topic than adding article to wiki...

  18. Normal maps will be only 2 types - one for bolt and one for star, border will not be presented in them
  19. I agree with 7upMan, thief series is not about sword fighting at all...
  20. Is that what you mean? If yes - I will remake normal map with bolt and star
  21. Colour of gold should be like buttons? And should insignia be the same colour or like star in picture?
