  1. Equipped this item, used it and found I couldn't get it off the screen. Remains after a quicksave and load.
  2. William Steele 1: In the North, Build 2.10 Can't frob a particular AI's loot, not sure if this is a known issue on map or engine error. Better safe than sorry.
  3. I'll be covering William Steele in his memory as the unfinished masterpiece that I noticed it as when I first routed it. May he rest in peace and be remembered only well.
  4. I've made the register edits and even rigged TDM into the drive where this might work more easily but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm 90% sure I'm missing something obvious.
  5. I've looked in the folder: Empty. This may be a Windows 10 differential, I'm not finding

  8. I suspected it may be name length that did it but it seems not, Shadows of Northdale is fully functional.
  9. The game has started. It would appear that using the "select mission" key breaks the startup on "A House of Locked Secrets", currently testing with other missions. Update: Rake-Off worked. Locked Secrets still does not. Unsure what is causing this.
  10. I believe this is the closest to a crash log I can manage. The screen goes grey as though the game will start up before going back to desktop. Darkmod.logDarkMod.temp.log
  11. There is no CFG file generated by the time of crash.
  12. I deleted the CFG file altogether.
  13. I have no idea how to go about that. Is there a tutorial somewhere? Surprisingly this did not work. Darkmod.cfg

Did a fresh install (deleted old files) of the new development build (dev16225-9284), worked like a charm up until I set my graphics to the following (https://imgur.com/a/ChxBGm2), downloaded almost 100 missions and restarted. The game now crashes before it can reach main menu. Hoping there's a log somewhere I can post to help.
  15. Drivers are updated, hardware is the same, still using the fresnel repack and this happened. Settings shown in video, nothing changed, but hopefully something that can isolate, simplify and complete this issue. If the black box in the upper right isn't obvious enough at 9 seconds let me know, I can adjust brightness/contrast in post. I wouldn't actually know how to go about doing that, I'm savvy with software to some degree but would need help. Edit: Got another one right after. I can't cover this mission, this bug is too common and too unpredictable to route around.
  16. Update: The fresnel repack doesn't seem to have made an impact. I was lucky enough to catch this one on footage.

  19. UPDATE: They do not just come in black. I'm getting semi-transparent red blocks here. They were gained while staring in this direction, I am unable to replicate this on video. Edit: Better view here, angle of execution. Lower right.
  20. Not sure how helpful it is but it is possible to get multiple squares. It is also possible for a square to pop up much later than another square.
  21. Very excited for any kind of dark theme. I miss when the forums did not light my entire room at night.
  22. I tried disabling frontend acceleration and the differential was negligible. I have not tried setting OBS to high priority.   23. This doesn't even happen in-game with OBS. It only shows in recordings, not in live gameplay. I found this out hours after finishing the videos. It is reproducible. No. Windows.

After thoroughly trial and error testing the possible cause of low FPS in recordings I can safely warn everyone else that despite having a strong graphics card ambient occlusion absolutely tanks output. This doesn't show while playing the game, just in the finalized video. Not sure whether this is to be filed as a bug or a sad side effect, either way I hope this helps out in the coding process! About a minute in the framerate takes a drastic drip. I am not sure what areas in particular cause this, what angles or why. Equal amounts of drop in framerate are present in low to high. The only differential is turning it off altogether.
