If it was that simple I would have an issue. Read 'all' of the link, you'll see you can get banned for simply leaving a game.

I believe you'll find that typically only applies to competitive team-based games that don't allow mid-game drop-in of new players (like say, Dota2), and a ban will probably only be issued after a pattern of repeat offending, as every time you do it you're ruining the game for 4-9 other people.

Looks like that is for serious gaming, Biker. I like the strictness. Griefers are all around multiplayer games. It is good that those who want to play seriously can do so without harassment.
