How to get key out from the pot?

To avoid spoiling I'm choosing my words carefully: I'm playing one mission where I need to get key out from the pot. I can pick up the pot, rotate it with mouse button 3 and I can see key inside, but I don't know how to get it out? I've tried every button of the keyboard, no luck :( There is no instruction on the training mission either how to do it. OS is Win7, if that makes any difference. Pls help, I wanna get back robbing and thieving :)

If we assume this mission features said pot at the start of the level, on a horizontal plane that is... elevated compared to the player at start, then you probably need to just carefully move the mouse around once you have the pot, and by carefully, I mean slowly. You want the "frob highlight" to move from the pot to the key, and with some careful mouse movements, you should be able to achieve this in a relatively short period of time. This would be easier if the pot in question was breakable, no doubt, though you might encounter issues with how the key would react to the containing pot breaking.

I never had that problem, except for the last time I tested, just last week. I was finally able to do what you did, which was to frob the key when the pot was upside-down.

There's probably some frob distance thing going on there, and when the key is closer to you than the pot's origin, it becomes frobable.

Edit: Nah, never mind. The problem is not being close enough to frob the key. As you approach the pot from any angle, it highlights. Most players will probably try frobbing at that point, but the key isn't going to come out. Move closer until the pot un-highlights, and--though you might not be able to see it--the key highlights. At that point, frobbing gives you the key.

Since folks will probably persevere and eventually find the right frobbing distance, I suspect this isn't a serious problem.

Somehow I admire the fact that the material from Dune has now been filmed for the third time. Personally, I could never do much with the material, but as a child of the 80s, I of course know the David Lynch movie...and that movie was at least funny!

Hey @nbohr1morehow come the zombies in The Dark Mod don't have a "resurrection" mechanic to it, similar to how Thief has it?
They're quite a weak creature as of right now, it's merely a walking corpse that slashes you, making attacking them to kill them an actual strategy.
Would be better if they had some cool mechanism to it that truly makes them a danger, such as the resurrection idea itself.

Query: when was the last time a zombie in a video game was unnerving or scary to you? I'm chipping away at my anniversary submission and I've been trying to gather opinions on the subject. I'm perfectly capable of lighting them well, changing their sfx, and creating effective ambience, but I'm worried that zombies at their core are just too overdone to be an effective payoff to the tension I'm creating.
