Any working ASE exporter for Blender 2.76b?

I am in need of an ASE exporter for Blender. I tried KatsBits ASE export, but it's so old that modern Blender versions don't even list the addon after it's installed. Someone made a thread about an ASE importer recently, but no exporter. I can export to lwo for the time being, but still prefer ase for own reasons.

Its not exactly what youre looking for, but I use Serpentine's Assimp exporter to convert to ASE. I export as OBJ frmo Blender, and then convert it in Assimp. You'll need the "directx Jun2010 redist".

I use Linux, so probably no working DirectX for such a thing.

I know, and I am using LWO for now. I want to try ASE as well for some things, but for some reason can't find any working exported on the internet.
