shouldered_name (for unconscious AI)

shouldered_name_dead

(Ignore shouldered_icon; it doesn't work.)

Try running dmap again and see whether the AAS error persists; if it does, look for errors/warnings in dmap's console output ("condump myfile.txt" will save it for perusal). If you've removed AI from the map you might also have a leftover AAS file to delete (in the same directory as the map file, with the same name).

The AAS error messages are because you have edited the map, saved it and run it without running DMAP again, it can tell something has changed, even if it's small and silly. Things probably won't go wrong if you just put a lockpick in, but DMAPping again will get rid of that error.

Scaling models via 'rotation hacks' is known to be risky.

The control for offsetting cloned objects is on the top icon bar.

I saw an option about 30 hours ago somewhere that said, "don't offset clones by 1,1,1", thought, "ah yeah I'll do that later cos that would be handy", and I've not been able to find it since.

I also prefer it that way. There is a button in the top bar of DR, the fourth button on the right of the "lock texture" button (padlock). A black and a dotted red square.

Has anyone had any luck with textures from Polyhaven? Their OpenEXR normal maps seem too washed out and give incorrect shading in the engine.

I tried to upscale the TDM logo video. First try:

briefing_video.mp4 You can test it ingame by making a copy of the core tdm_gui.mtr and place it in your-tdm-root/materials/ , then edit line 249 of that file into the location where you placed the new briefing.mp4 file.
What I did was I extracted all the image files, then used Upscayl to upscale the images using General photo (Real-Esrgan) upscale setting and then turn it back into a video.
I might have to crop it a bit, the logo looks smaller on screen (or maybe it's actually better this way?). My video editor turned it into a 16:9 video, which I think overal looks better than 1:1 video of original.

Finally got round to publishing a tutorial on baking normal maps in Blender, since most of the ones we have are inaccessible or years out of date.
