Just installed ver 2.12 and copied my preferred configurations from 2.11.

Playing my first 2.12 mission, I noticed that picking up a black jacked person was automatic and dropping them was automatic. But I couldn't move them around. I like to "tuck" my victims tightly into a corner. So where is the keystroke or toggle that allows me to move my victim ? Is it renamed something in the Settings ? Do I have to sacrifice Auto-pickup or whatever it's called  if I intend to manually move my prey ?

 

Never Mind......I found out almost immediately it's in the Gameplay / General menu under "Hold-Frob Interact" which is new (I think). Simply disabling it took me to the classical way of doing things. It would be nice though if I could auto-pickup AND manually move things around.

You have to hold the mouse button and then you can move the body around just fine.

So yeah, that is still possible.

      Taking a break to alleviate burnout. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have jumped into a map-making contest so quickly after just finishing another project and especially with my busy schedule, but I do believe I have something that the community will enjoy. No clue if I'll be able to finish it on time for the competition if I factor in a break, but I'd rather take my time and deliver something of quality rather than engage in development crunch or lose part of the map's soul to burnout.

      Happy birthday to me!
      Yes, today's my birthday and as much as I want to play The Dark Mod, I won't until it's late Autumn, where it should be a bit chilly in my place and there's some wind too.
      For now, it's time to enjoy my birthday, if any of you want to play a great fan mission in my honour...Well that's asking too much, just play the mission because it's fun, not because of me, enjoy it yourself! 💪
