greebo 82
Greetings ShadowSneaker! Any way you could repost your work? All of the links seem to have expired. All of the tracks are on SVN already. sound/ambient/ambience/ss_*
ShadowSneaker 0
The last link is still active. Did you put that one up there aswell Greebo? SS
greebo 82
Ah, no, the last one isn't in SVN yet. I must admit I haven't even listened to it yet. I'm going to download it and push it to SVN.
ShadowSneaker 0
Ok, cool. It's just a variation on that 'derelict' track. I lowered the hammer/anvil noises down an octave and added some other metallic sounds. SS
ShadowSneaker 0
New track influenced by the 'Assassins' theme : https://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?acti...qMGNoeVlLSkE9PQ

OrbWeaver 662
We have an active sound guy? Can we make sure we get the original WAVs into the source repository for these as well, not just the "finished" Oggs, otherwise we end up with the uneditable Ogg problem. ShadowSneaker 0
All the music I have sent loops seamlessly already. Do you want them as wavs anyway?
OrbWeaver 662
All the music I have sent loops seamlessly already. Do you want them as wavs anyway? It's good that they loop already, but we certainly need to store the sources to allow for modification later (just like with textures and models). We have a separate source repository for sounds: https://darkmod.homelinux.com/svn/sound_src I suggest creating a suitable directory inside there, and then uploading your WAV originals. ShadowSneaker 0
I get an error message clicking that link : Secure Connection Failed darkmod.homelinux.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self signed. The certificate expired on 26/03/2007 00:14. (Error code: sec_error_expired_issuer_certificate) I don't have access to the server, that's why I upload everything here. Is this the problem?
greebo 82
The certficate is outdated, but it's still our very own server - you can add a certificate exception if you want to browse it using Firefox. For upload to the repository, you'll need the TortoiseSVN client. Or post links to the files here and I'll do the upload for you.
