  1. that's why moderation is a necessity It only becomes evident when the number of members increase.
  2. It's not a matter of disagreement, but being disrespectful along the way. People gave you arguments and you gave them "pathetic", "Diego the boss my house", "you argument is ludicrous", etc. In fact, the very point of the discussion is proven with your actions, you are trying to convince that words are harmless while actually damaging this forum, because grown ups avoid people like you by avoiding places like this. Of course.. you are just going to ignore the argument, quote something unrelated and call me a another nickname (all that while trying to convince people you are mature)
  3. Oh, we are adults.. trying to deal with a 10 years old. Seriously, enter a work environment, behave like you are now in front of your boss and tell me you are not gonna be dragged out of the building. This forum has the most patient moderation. Many posts easily qualified as flamebaits worth banning already.
  4. I just hope this doesn't become an interesting forum.
  5. Unfortunately, it's exactly the way it was the last time you saw it.. Didn't have time to get back to it, so I'm sending what I have.
  6. Moderation is a necessity. Period. For those appealing to "freedom of speech" and similar, don't worry, you have plenty of freedom to start your own forum and say whatever you want. I'm always amazed by the inability of people to connect internet behavior with real life. Yes, you can say whatever you want, but not in my house! I also have the right to kick someone's ass out of my house if such presence annoys me.
  7. About that inventor model.. good news: I have my own computer on my hands now! with the model and all that. Bad news: my connection is absurdly bad and the files are big. I'll find a way to send it, though. Just to let you know I didn't forgot about it or anything like that
  8. You travel a lot! now THAT is a good hobby I have never left my country. I always wanted to meet/live in a really cold place. I like the winter here, it's nice, but the summer simply kills me! It's so hot I can't work or even relax (even sleeping becomes a challenge)
  9. About the keys.. Maybe a more rpg-ish inventory, that opens something like a list, would help navigate through many keys.
  10. "The mission... won't be released today!" dramabutton (tan tan taaaaan)
  11. Great! I'm going to have to wait a week more to play, though.. damn exam
  12. A couple of days without internet and so many replies! Nice to know a little about everyone Oh, right! I'm from Brazil (or Brasil) so my native language is portuguese. I have graduated in physics and now I'm doing a masters program. Is this right? I never know how to say this things in english.. "I have a BS, I am studying for an MS" sounds weird. Anyway, I have so many hobbies that they almost get in the way of my "real life occupation"! 3d modeling and animation, (CG in general) programming, music, games, etc..
  13. Hi there So today I came home, checked my email, ate something and checked to see if there was anything interesting in the forum where people from different corners of the planet, all ages and different occupations talk about this game, that's really a mod, design implications of first/third person mode, footsteps sound and if it's possible to really knock someone out with a club in real life. The internet is weird. But anyway, I really like this forum and you all seem like nice people So I'm curious about the real people behind the (sometimes complicated) nicknames!
  14. I REALLY support the idea. A nice package of prefabs might boost the visual quality of the mod a hundred times.
  15. I was just thinking about that too. There are great insights in these reviews, but they're not meant to be applied blindly in every occasion. In Stealth experience we take much longer to cover areas and distances of a map, we prefer small places filled with obstacles and possible covers than open spaces, and we don't need space to maneuver our shotgun or antything like that. Of course, I only realized this after reading the article! That's the value of a good article.
  16. Here (Brazil) we use "picareta" to describe... eh.. (searching for word here) that guy who would steal your money by using cleverness (I think it's called a con artist)
  17. Maybe it's just me, but the description sounds plain and generic, it fits a hundred games. But you probably have a very unique picture in your mind, something that made you excited about doing this! Try to put that into words (unless it's "I want to be a mod leader and be famous and rich!" )
  18. Ok, I finished! =D Amazing mission! Congrats and thanks for the 7 hours of gameplay Really, I had a great time playing this mission and probably going to play it again in the future. There is one thing, though: at least for my skill level, this mission is HARD! Not in the stealth aspect (I knocked out only 3 people and sneaked the whole place a zillion times without much trouble) but finding out what to do next and all secrets are what really took me a lot of time and spoilers.
  19. Wow, this is a really amazing mission! :-o I'm not finished, though. I have several locked doors.
  20. Hmmm! I just renamed the extension to zip, to inspect the file, and I got the message "unexpected end of archive". I'll try downloading it again. Edit: Yep! That did the trick!
  21. Hi there, I have just downloaded the Lord Dufford mission into the fms folder, as I always do, but the New Mission menu doesn't show it. What could be wrong? I have the impression the menu is "full", but there probably is a scroll bar of some sort to show more missions, right?
  22. opa, um brasileiro! :D massa!

Tu és o primeiro que eu tenho conhecimento, nunca vi outro nome brasileiro por aqui (claro que podem estar usando nomes tipo "g4rr3tt_masterthief" hehehe.. aí só perguntando, mesmo)
