Hi there, This has been bugging me for a while as is something I don't see in your screenshots. The lights are very bright, to the point where I lose details over the lit areas. Example: I tried messing with the gamma/brightness sliders but even at the lowest values it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Just played the first part! I'm just going to hide the whole thing so I don't let any spoiler slip. Can't wait to play the next one! I'm just going to work a little before that to ease my conscience By the way, the leg dragging zombies are *really* cool, but they are too peculiar to have more than one or two per level, in my opinion. Aren't there other kinds of zombies available? -
How about a new creature? This looks like a nice window to come up with some original (and unfamiliar) content for the TDM I remember a thread with someone suggesting a creature that could only see in the shadow.

that's why moderation is a necessity It only becomes evident when the number of members increase.

It's not a matter of disagreement, but being disrespectful along the way. People gave you arguments and you gave them "pathetic", "Diego the boss my house", "you argument is ludicrous", etc. In fact, the very point of the discussion is proven with your actions, you are trying to convince that words are harmless while actually damaging this forum, because grown ups avoid people like you by avoiding places like this. Of course.. you are just going to ignore the argument, quote something unrelated and call me a another nickname (all that while trying to convince people you are mature)
-
Oh, we are adults.. trying to deal with a 10 years old. Seriously, enter a work environment, behave like you are now in front of your boss and tell me you are not gonna be dragged out of the building. This forum has the most patient moderation. Many posts easily qualified as flamebaits worth banning already.

I just hope this doesn't become an interesting forum.

Moderation is a necessity. Period. For those appealing to "freedom of speech" and similar, don't worry, you have plenty of freedom to start your own forum and say whatever you want. I'm always amazed by the inability of people to connect internet behavior with real life. Yes, you can say whatever you want, but not in my house! I also have the right to kick someone's ass out of my house if such presence annoys me.

You travel a lot! now THAT is a good hobby I have never left my country. I always wanted to meet/live in a really cold place. I like the winter here, it's nice, but the summer simply kills me! It's so hot I can't work or even relax (even sleeping becomes a challenge)

"The mission... won't be released today!" dramabutton (tan tan taaaaan)

A couple of days without internet and so many replies! Nice to know a little about everyone Oh, right! I'm from Brazil (or Brasil) so my native language is portuguese. I have graduated in physics and now I'm doing a masters program. Is this right? I never know how to say this things in english.. "I have a BS, I am studying for an MS" sounds weird. Anyway, I have so many hobbies that they almost get in the way of my "real life occupation"! 3d modeling and animation, (CG in general) programming, music, games, etc..
-
Hi there So today I came home, checked my email, ate something and checked to see if there was anything interesting in the forum where people from different corners of the planet, all ages and different occupations talk about this game, that's really a mod, design implications of first/third person mode, footsteps sound and if it's possible to really knock someone out with a club in real life. The internet is weird. But anyway, I really like this forum and you all seem like nice people So I'm curious about the real people behind the (sometimes complicated) nicknames!

I REALLY support the idea. A nice package of prefabs might boost the visual quality of the mod a hundred times.

I was just thinking about that too. There are great insights in these reviews, but they're not meant to be applied blindly in every occasion. In Stealth experience we take much longer to cover areas and distances of a map, we prefer small places filled with obstacles and possible covers than open spaces, and we don't need space to maneuver our shotgun or antything like that. Of course, I only realized this after reading the article! That's the value of a good article.

Here (Brazil) we use "picareta" to describe... eh.. (searching for word here) that guy who would steal your money by using cleverness (I think it's called a con artist)
-
Maybe it's just me, but the description sounds plain and generic, it fits a hundred games. But you probably have a very unique picture in your mind, something that made you excited about doing this! Try to put that into words (unless it's "I want to be a mod leader and be famous and rich!" )
