  1. I agree with Macsen. I don't like it. In words you can understand oDDity - worst model you've done by a long stretch imho.
  2. I like that clock alot. The brightness is a sharp contrast to the reality of the setting and I like the juxtaposition of light (that is still somehow sinister) as you wait to plunged into darkness.
  3. I thought is was well made, the idea was good (of course - taken from a PKD book) but the script and logical inconsistences are just ridiculous
  4. The thing that amuses me about that film is that you can use your eyes to get into the police headquarters when yuo are a fugitive policeman and the police know that is where you are headed. All that tech an no brains. And you can use your own eyes to free yourself from prison. Logical security systems then. What a load of crap.
  5. Interesting info on the game. I like the sound of it alot. Plus Purah ftw!!
  6. I loved stacking and exploring. You didn't need the orb though.
  7. Ja, child selectors are one way to do it. And they can be used in css so it's all good for the time being.
  8. Oh, I thought these were the thing: div#hack_test{ html>body div#hack_test{ IE doesn't see the 2nd one.
  9. You can put conditional elements in css files. I do it all the time. There are few layouts I use that both FF and IE render properly (IEs fault natch). Of course when I say conditional elements I mean bits that only IE can or cannot see (depending on the situtation). I say pah to last resorts. I build layouts with these IE quirks in mind. I think you have to.
  10. Jeepers. How about splitting it up into 4 or even 6 rars instead of 2 huge ones?
  11. If you had a dsictinct class system, points allocation for emplacements/engines and, impotantly, deformable and destructable scenery and buildings it would be a winner.
  12. Hmmm. Hmmm. If you mean a 2 round match, with teams playing attacker and defender I say yes. That would be fantastic. There are soooo many things you could do with this. And you could have loads of different map types with fixed or optional emplacements. Run with it, this can go places.
  13. We talked about pic of the day too, and decided we don't need it.
  14. If you want wallclimbing like that go and play Thief3
  15. It is illegal to own a gun in the UK unless it's for a special reason, that's why we have to few. If it were legal there would be a lot more ownership.
  16. Oh man do they. Springheel, you need to be doing much more art for TDM. Those really are lovely. Next screenshot update you have to have to put them in.
  17. No, no, I just meant so that it won't get confused with some kind of magic chalice. Use it whereever, but actual location is important. Magic chalice + paperwork = "I MUST get these tax returns in tomorrow and by the Builder this magic keepmeup potion will just have to do!"
  18. I wouldn't recommend it as a writing light. They need to sperad light downwards. I imagine this in a crypt or a pagan setting, uplighting a religious image ro something.
  19. I was joking sparhawk, I know you're using Windows.
  20. I think it looks great. It might be mistaken for a cup but it depends where you place them I suppose. The texture is lovely and gives off a very relaxing mood.
  21. Gameking, there are demos of Thief 1,2 and 3 about. Google them.
  22. sparhawk is using linux though. A TDS-hating version of linux too! It doesn't like good graphics
  23. Which game projects are you working on?
  24. Nice models? Do you play Red Orchestra? The RO team are WW2 fanatics and consequently RO has very detailed WW2 armour and weaponary. I think you'd like it. Check out the new Ostfront game and models. But you should ditch this WW2 lark and do some TDM modelling.
  25. He should be called Basilisa Panuopulous, and that is final. He's on the left DON' T YOU DARE ARGUE!!! Get skinning people.
