Moving to a new computer

I'm setting up a new desktop machine. Do I need to go through downloading TDM again or, after installing Doom3, can I copy TDM folder to it's new location on the new machine?

 

If so, anything I should be aware of?

Yes, you can do ity with the whole doom3 folder in fact.

PS If you're interested new machine is PhenomII x 6 and it flies! Keeping XP as I don't like Win7.

Yes, very easy. I have it on my external HD and it's plug-and-play on any computer. For that matter, USB flash drives are big enough now you can put the whole thing on that and it's plug-and-play and fits in your pocket. I can visit a friend and show him my FM by playing it on his computer right off a flash drive. I love this game.

Heh, that's a cool idea. I thought I'd burn someone a DVD; but just giving them a USB thumb drive is even better, with a 4Gb stick being 11€, you could easily give a 2Gb one as gift without thinking about the price.
