Ok, just bought doom3

The dark mod updater is not working either the windows version on wine or the linux version.

 

I was thinking of getting the torrent (i prefer that anyway, since i digitalize my games so i will have a "standard" doom 3 zip i will never play + a darkmod zip i will unzip over that extracted content when i want to update the dark mod.

 

However i heard that a new version is eminent. Any schedule?

 

If you're interested in the linux darkmod updater failure, it's related to the the version of perl i have being 64 bits (yes i have ia32-libs installed).

Fair enough, that should work. Just place it in the correct place and everything should work without a hitch. Not 100% sure of seeding/versions etc with the torrent however - but let us know if you need any help failing that.

Currently it's something along the lines of "xmas time", but don't hold me to it. The current version doesn't scroll weapons correctly with the mouse wheel. I'd say 1.02 is worth the download

Thanks!, it's a known issue and there has been some work in that area - so with a little luck it should work next time round

Do you release stand alone patches to update the torrent versions? Because if so i might as well download it now.
