You say this will be her 3rd marriage. What if she's like you and wondering what if but gets no indication from you that you're interested so she keeps looking. I say tell her then step back and let her make the next move. Be her friend as you've been. The relationship will either move forward or you may need to step out for awhile to move on. As has been mentioned this will eat at you like a cancer and it needs to come out but don't be a stalker about it if you don't get a positive answer. You never know until you put it out there.

 

Edit - Maybe don't use the "L" word unless you're sure. You can always say strong feelings or something like that.

So, I finally talked to her about this today. She didn't get upset at all. We haven't been able to talk as much lately due to a variety of things so I figured I would just let it out.

 

I actually feel a lot better now, even though I recently got screwed financially.

Have to agree with Tels. Hope things were favourable for you. As you said just getting this off your chest makes you feel better so you're already ahead of the game.
