Install DarkMod to computer with no internet...

What is the right way to do this?

 

Run the update.exe one computer and install and then move the installed files by flash drive? The two computers have different versions of windows and different hardware ... laptop versus workstation.

 

Or is there a direct download of the full install files that can be moved to another computer and installed there?

 

(BTW I love how the mod is progressing. Tried it years ago when it first came out and a lot more missions and basic improvements are now available Thanks for the work!)

Once I finished downloading all the files using the the tdm_update(.exe) I downloaded all the missions from the in game mission downloader. After that, I put all the files on a flash drive. I then copied these files onto my brother's computer. It worked great. Also make sure that all the files are in a folder named darkmod.

Once you've downloaded the mod, and ran tdm_update.exe to verify the file integrity, you can just copy the "darkmod" folder and put it on any computer and run it like that.
