Biggest problem with those textures is they won't tile. Be very careful in your texture choice. Even

though a texture may look cool, you may have to do some work on it to make it tile properly.

Nothing looks worse on a map, than lines on the textures where they meet.

 

Another possibilty for textures for you, is the photorealistic set (use with extreme care - many of them are

too real). Another site to put in google, is 3Dlemons. He does some great textures, but the same warning

applies.

Um. Yeah I know.

 

I made my own thiefy textures for D3ed before I was a beta mapper and had the resources. And I still use the odd custom texture.

 

GIMP is your friend. You can easily create tiling textures.
