Doom 3 PL and DarkRadiant

Hi again!

 

I am thinking about getting back to DM editing. Finally. Therefore I need to buy Doom 3 as I don't have my previous copy.

 

In my country I can only buy localised (Polish) version of Doom 3. Will it work with DarkRadiant and DoomRadiant?

I don't see any reason why the language would make a difference, but I guess you won't know until you try. At least if DarkRadiant breaks we can fix it.

Thanks for the answer. I guess I'll have to buy the game first and find out if it works later.... I was hoping that someone here uses localised Doom 3 and can tell me if it's DM "compatibile".

Is the version on Steam localized? I believe the Steam version has been confirmed to work with Darkmod (and Darkradiant?) anyway.

The localized version *should* work, as TDM overrides strings/english.lang - but a sure way would be to buy D3 and find out

I`m using Doom 3 PL with DarkRadiant and everything is working smoothly. I`ve played Thief`s Den without any problems.
