Anyone here have experience mastering songs for CD production?

My band is just wrapping up our 11 track debut CD. We have funded the whole thing ourselves, and now...coming down to the final weeks before our scheduled release date, we're nearly broke. The mixing process has almost drained our resources. I think we have 1000 dollars left and that has to cover a small run of CD's, a down payment for our sound engineer and whatever fees we need to take care of so we can sell our CD's in the store.

 

My question is...are there any experienced sound engineers in here who would be willing to help a taffer and his band finish up this 11 month project? I'm sure we could find a way to make a down payment, and then pay the rest after we start selling some CD's.

 

Just let me know. Our scheduled release date is October 22.

I recall he's involved in that sort of thing, although I don't know exactly.
