Hmm, one thing you can try is switch to older drivers and see if it happens there, otherwise, I don't really know what could be going wrong, so it must be driver incompatibility.

 

I already did that and it didn't worked, it seams to be a old problem with ATI cards (doom3 was always better on Nvidia) i found two doom3world threads about this problem.

I will disable it because in reality is nothing important for the gameplay and without it the game works fine.

Flipping upside-down on some cards sounds like something that might be fixed by tweaking the VFP. Not that we have time to do that or are officially supporting bloom.

What if we had a checkbox in options for some ati cards. flip image checkbox or something like that. STUPID freakin ATI cards, I still can't use 3d skyboxes

uhh when i DL it it DL's as a .zit instaid of a .PK4

 

i use zipgenius, is that the problem?

Just change the file extension back to PK4 (by renaming the file - you'll need the "Hide extensions for common file types" setting under My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options to be OFF before you can do this). Assuming the file content downloaded correctly, that will work.
