So far, I'm really pleased with how the bugtracker is functioning. I've never used a bugtracker before (I never needed to), but this is definitely rocking. :)

Yes, its making it very easy to track and resolve issues. We're certainly doing better than the Mod, their page is a sea of red... :P

I can access it through Tor, so it does seem to be localised.

Unfortunately accessing anything through Tor involves speeds that make a 300 baud model from the 80s seem fast by comparison. What happened to that whole idea of the Internet routing around damage?

My ISP just sent me an email (Sunday, 17:00 - before I contacted them ;)) and they told me that they will move my account to a better server (it sounded like it was their own server, so let's hope this improves things a lot).

My account will be moved on Tuesday, 27/02/2007 8:00 CET, so expect a bit of downtime on that day. Hopefully the current issues with the drivespace will be resolved till Tuesday, so that I can pull a backup from the server before they move my account.

They sorted it out a few hours ago and I could repair most of the SQL tables. One table containing the bugnotes had irreparable issues and I had to reimport it from a backup (from 24/02/2007 at 00:10). This means that some of the latest notes were lost unfortunately, but most of it is still there.

Additionally, I added a new status field named "suspended", so that it's possible to postpone issues.

The bugtracker has been moved to the new server now, but there remain a few issues with the subdomains (they are currently redirecting to a subdirectory) which I have to sort out with my ISP.

So, the redirecting is broken at the moment, but it's possible to submit issues and notes. And you probably have to re-login as the domain name is not the same right now.

I took the liberty and added the "Target Version" to a few issue reports. This is to make the "RoadMap" feature working.

Basically, you can assign a feature request/issue report in the Update Advanced dialog to a specific version (must be added beforehand in the Manage Projects dialog) and the RoadMap displays the issues sorted by target version and adds a progress meter.

@OrbWeaver: Feel free to re-organise or move the issues around as you like, in case I assigned an issue to a wrong version or something. :)

That's an excellent feature, we should definitely make use of this. It gives a clear idea of what needs to be done for the future releases, since I always tend to forget what I am supposed to be working on.

EDIT: I guess it only makes sense to give Confirmed issues a target version, since if something isn't confirmed as a problem you can't really plan for a fix.

Whoops, didn't see this edit until now. Yes, I guess that's correct. I'll set these issues either to confirmed or remove them from the target version.

Another new feature is that one is able to create subprojects now. I've added a Subproject DarkRadiant Renderengine to the DarkRadiant project. Does this make sense or should we rather leave everything in one project?

Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.
