  1. That was a different and fun mission. I liked navigating through the crowds - I hadn't seen that in other fm's. It was quite challenging at times, especially during the "follow" section. It was VERY challenging trying to get back home after completing the objectives. I did notice an issue with guards seeing bodies that were stowed in the dark though - I had to make sure to put them in an area that no one ever ventured into ( ).

  2. There is a difference...professional guards have slightly higher acuity settings than generic thugs, for example. Drunk guards have much worse acuity. Alert guards might even have their acuity boosted--can't quite remember. Mission authors could also affect those settings based on difficulty, though I don't know if many do.

  3. I believe I suggested the hearing settings back then too.

  4. Just finished SoN Act I. Superb intro video. Very professional. I liked that while at first the map looks large, the scope is contained and you don't get overwhelmed with side quests or endless non-essential locations. I liked the setup with non-aggressive guards and how the act gets introduced well into the mission (excellent touch). The shop always is a nice addition but I didn't find much need for any of the tools other than the rope arrow which, surprisingly, and given the setup of the second part, wasn't of much use need either. I had a peaceful thieving experience in two gorgeous locations. Looking forward to Act II! Oh and...

  5. The rules are also explained in the tutorial mission. It's also one of the loading screen tips of both starting missions. And while there have been one or two vocal opponents to the current ruleset, I think they would be far outweighed by the number of people complaining if a core mechanic suddenly started behaving differently without warning.
